Daz, in the latest interview Bond states that the battery is a buffer. It’s not having to supply all the energy but picks up the peak demand keeping the cell at a nominal size for the combined output.
My comment earlier for clarification was relating to the use of batteries at solar farms.

Battery manufacturing takes mined metals which has an environmental and human cost. And as for batteries being embraced by me, well the Boeing 787 battery had to ultimately be put in a fireproof box with external vent after repeated fires. Nothing is safe when it contains stored energy.

One thing nobody mentions is battery life and stability. I installed many UPS systems for emergency escape lighting and the batteries require good environmental temperature control and battery management to last. Expensive when replacement time comes around. Huge battery farms aren’t cost effective in the long term compared to tanks of ammonia.

To be honest if the ii purchased shares are sold to pi investors then they may be less of an overhang when things pick up. He’s some will sell into the rise but many pi investors want longer term benefits in a sipp for instance.
The money does give AFC the financial clout to manufacture kit and speed up the solid and alkmem products which will suit some markets better.
For stationary purposes the liquid may be a better bet.

There are rumblings of a second wave which I think is weighing down on the market. Conversely the epidemic seems to be triggering the green revolution so in the medium term could actually help green companies. A vaccine is what’s needed for the market jitters to be calmed.
