I’ve read the consensus that once the sh*t hits the fan everything will be sold, including gold.

However the majority think gold will then be first to rise and have its time to shine.

If everyone knew exactly what was going to happen then we’d all be millionaires.

However a lot of confirmation bias comes into play.

There are people who believe that gold and silver are rubbish.

There are people who believe they are going to the moon.

There are people who believe the stock market will keep going up, people believe in bitcoin.

ALL of these will have a point in time when everyone will have been correct. However you just need to get off the train at the right time to fully monetise your position. Easier said than done.

Im prepared (as much as one can be) for GGP to go below £6 again. ( not a deramp as you only need to read my history I’ve always been super positive on the company) however mentally it is always hard watching ‘paper’ money drift away.

But that’s all it is. Paper money. It’s not real money until I sell. Will I sell too early? No doubt I will. But there will be a time when I depart this wonderful company as I will be comfortable enough to enjoy my life.

However that time is nowhere near yet.

Yes the world economies are Fecked, don’t deny that.

IMO all done by design though. No doubt a rocky period coming up, which I’ve said before, however you either sell and conserve your capital or you sit and wait.

I sit and wait (and wait, and wait 😆)

As I believe GGP will get to double figure share price .

Whichever way people choose to go I wish them well as we’re al just trying to better ours and our families lives .

The ‘bullish’ US jobs numbers that will be revised down in a month.

Manipulation at its finest, the way the markets work has been a real eye opener the last few years.

Remember they don’t want the little guy to succeed, keep the faith.

Last few times quarterly report we get a glimpse first week in July hopefully , full report end of July.

Reserves , not sure exactly. Could be anytime , but my guess is same time as the quarterly.

Just the standard 15p drop on nothing.

Wait until gold drops again ( if it does?) we’ll drop 50p no doubt.

Still can’t quite fathom the way we trade compared to gold price sometimes.

Not worth fretting about though in the grand scheme of things.

The price at 1 stage on the ASX was $14.18 ish

So £7.57.

Then closes £7.38 equivalent.

Did anyone ever buy any on the ASX ? As with them being ‘first’ for news , if you trade then you’d be best to do it in Aus?

(Obviously FX fees etc… would play a part)

Price action today was great for the traders here, amazing how words from a select few in the world can move markets like they do, unfortunately the little people get swallowed up unless they are extremely lucky.

Roll on the resolution of the ‘war’ in Iran (whatever it may be 🤷‍♂️) as then GGP will really start to motor 🚀

Just have to keep the faith and shut out the noise, if I had the funds I’d be a buyer, but I’ve been all in for years 🤣

Good to see you still posting.

I remember I got in just after you in October 2017, and have watched the story unfold.

Without doubt you turning into ‘Paddysat’ was the single most important information ever given to this board.

I still remember the secrecy behind Rio’s discovery of Winu, even a few years later was still a struggle to find any info about it. However with your pics of Havieron constantly keeping us upto date , I’m sure it encouraged many people to stay the course.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I’m sure everyone here as long as us sometimes wishes they’d sold at the top and then brought back lower.

However who’s to say that after selling first time, they’d not have put money into another company that bit the dust?

I’m glad I held through the good times and the bad and am looking forward to the next 3 years or so.

Still think that Havieron will be one of the biggest finds of the last few years once we start drilling again, used to love staying up through the night watching the drill results flow in 😂

Thanks for all you’ve done over the years, and make sure you keep your eye on that satellite! As I’ve got a good feeling that we’ll actually find the main source of all this lovely gold. ( think the explorer who found Telfer said there was a monster somewhere else)

Would be nice Panama , but I’m not optimistic.

Gold looks like it will go lower, until war ‘sorted’ unfortunately we’re in tough headwinds.

I’m preparing for a rough few weeks but then it will hopefully turn and we can start getting an SP that this company deserves. 🤞

Until then expect ‘characters’ to appear on the board and for the usual fall in meaningful chat.

Now lowest price of the day. Gold was this price when Aussie market closed. We’re nearly 18p off that.

NO ONE here has a clue about what it will do. Oroce drops 10p in minutes.

Traders in control, and will be for a few weeks yet I feel.

Roll on September as touch wood things will have changed in our favour.

Lots of people think gold going lower still until the push higher that is hopefully coming.

I’m mentally prepared for it to go lower anyway. But when the rise comes GGP will be pushing into new highs and beyond.

Just be aware that this board will be unbearable if it does happen (gold a bit lower)

Yes fish and chips expensive game now unfortunately, did it for 27 years down here in Torbay.

Got out the game October 24 and glad I did. Without charging what they do shops just wouldn’t survive after taking out all their expenses, of which there are many.
