Yes I know how to read an RNS, and I think I've mentioned it twice about £2:50, I wouldn't say I was banging on about it, I've been here since day 1, and will continue topping up when I feel the need to, at the moment I feel the market dosnt believe in the company 100%, hence why we have dropped from £4:20 to now under £3:00, ive been burnt so many times and I just prepare myself for large drops, however this is a great company and can we see £4:00 plus again, absolutely we can and much higher, it just is going to take longer than I thought, sometimes have to be realistic and I don't think we will gain much until October time, gl anyway.!!!!

We all knew what they were, the fact that the word subdued was in the RNS will not go down well with us here, the market will not like it, can see this dropping to below £2.50 and possibly more over the coming months, will just haft to wait till end of year and see where we are, gl all it's going to be a long road ahead.

The market already know the results, it's what Jim McCarthy says regarding future prospects that will either make or break this share, ie, 99p store purchase and how the company have traded the last 3-4 months.

Not to sure what to make of this now, it's going down everyday, the market knows that the results are good and don't think that will have much effect on the price on the 18th, the deal on the 99p stores is the crunch, if that goes ahead then back to £4, but that could take another 4months so I could see this hitting £2:50, maybe lower.

Think it's a number of things, 99p farce ended up being one of them, I think until the market knows which way that goes it may drop further, also the election being so close isn't helping, hopefully the results are good and it can pick up in the next 6-8 weeks or so. But gone from £421 to £315 in a few weeks, incredible!!!

Hi cupaz, yes quiet Bb here, sometimes I talk to myself :) agree that I think poundland will get bought out, not for 2-3 years tho, only thing that worries me is how much it's going to cost to refurb the new shops, it won't be cheap. Would like to think tho that come middle of next year it will start paying off.

I guess we will haft to see what unfolds, maybe more RNS :) have been in here from day 1, and will continue to stay in here, gl if you dip your toes.

In these hard economic times that we are in a 18/20 million profit is incredible, especially when various supermarkets have said they are Really struggling, this will of course grow much much more once we acquire 99p shops and then move to the thousand shops, this is just the start for this company, with more news to come in the coming months, watch this space, gl to all involved, and as Jim McCarthy has said the rest of this year and 2016 will be great for this company. So imo I think they are cheap at this price.

Imo I don't think they will drop much, gl if you reinvest, it will be a wise move imo.

I think this is massively undervalued, I was expecting £5 this year but if the 99p deal goes through then I expect much more, the market already knows that they have pretty much hit there target for the years results so don't think many will profit take, if the deal happens then broker upgrades are due, especially from two who clearly don't know poundlands market.

That little bit closer to the 1000 shops if all goes to plan, will stick to my prediction of £4:40 by end of March, imo of course. :)

I find it incredible that the market have reacted to the share price like it has, heaven help us if we posted bad news, THEY HAVE HAD A RECORD BREAKING XMAS, can't ask for more than that, :/

Sales rose 10.2% to £328 million, well done poundland, and it will keep growing from strength to strength, I firmly believe one of the big supermarkets who are on there knees will one day make an offer for us, any thoughts on this?

And I think £4 will be hit within the next month, can see this being a £5 a share this year depending on market conditions, looking forward to hearing how Xmas trading went.

Divi too, just listened to the report on BBC news, they look VERY strong, fingers crossed we should start to move up to near the brokers target of £4, amazed why a couple of decent amounts sold last thing last night, oh well hopefully they will have a bit more reassurance now and buy back in, gl.

Up 34.2%, not bad as a lot of companies are struggling..
