Dumbo; You clearly do not understand the issues here; Toxic elements can be found almost everywhere within the natural environment, there is little humanity can do to avoid them. However a problem can occur when human activity changes the state or location of these Toxic elements. As you rightly point out Lynas created a problem when they relocated their Radionuclides from Mt Weld to Malaysia, the solution ? they now have to ensure that the U&Th remain where they originate from ie at Mt Weld; the same goes for Pensana's Longonjo mine where secure long term storage has been planned from day one.

Now the issue for Rainbow is that previous operations to mine Phosphate have liberated a whole host of Heavy Metals from their original state (HM-Phosphates being insoluble) and they are now seeping into the wider environment. The company 'Rainbow' has identified these issues and according to TT will be providing a suitable solution, which is to precipitate the HM's out of solution into a non soluble (Carbonate) form and store them in a safe and secure manner.

So Dumbo, what happens to all those Heavy Metals that go into the Process plant, where do they end up ? Are they extracted with the REE's or are they dumped as a precipitate in the Waste water. And if you had not noticed those assays are in milligrams while WHO limits are in micrograms ~ so they are not inconsequential. I may not be a chemist but I know you can not destroy matter, it has to report somewhere.

Any presence of Heavy Metals would make the Phosphate residue unsuitable for agricultural use as most HM's are cumulative poisons in tissue. Hg, Cd, Se, As, etc levels above a THQ of 1 are considered dangerous to animals.

From a 2017 PubMed article "levels of Cr and Pb in muscle tissue of L. rosae from the Flag Boshielo Dam (THQCr = 1.15; THQPb = 4.18) and the Phalaborwa Barrage (THQPb = 1.50) posed risks to human health."

So all of that By-product could end up being classified as Toxic Waste AGAIN ~ What was the arrangement for cleaning this up Dumbo ?

PA is a Mining Engineer, not a Geologist, He has probably never located a drill rig in his life and he has certainly never signed off as a 'Competent Person' for a JORC Report ! PA does however know how to employ highly competent Geologists to do those tasks as required.

The first three jobs he had were in Operating mines, so naturally all drilling was in Ore. The next four Projects were already advanced exploration status and were acquired only after extensive Due Diligence by a highly experienced team of mining professionals; All drilling Projects are staffed by highly competent Geologists, it is their job to design and manage any drilling programs.

Any Greenfield Projects, PA has sponsored out of his own pocket which do not require any Public disclosure by him.
