Dumbo, you may have had a point with the EV's but you forget that Humber is the Hub for the North Sea Wind turbines ~ and Pensana is already in bed with Equinor and Saltend is being set up to also recycle their magnets once they reach their use by date; a far bigger market than EV's ! And being in a Free Port, Saltend will also be supplying Polestar / Volvo. You might want to let RBW in on fatally flawed analysis ?
As for the ChinaTroll, I very much doubt that any Magnets currently being manufactured in China and sold to the West will ever find their way back to the cess-pit. China is now caught in their own trap ! If they cease supply, the West will rapidly advance its own Projects, as we already have the Raw materials and Technology available ~ and if they continue to drop prices, the ROW gets a cheap (shoddy) supply while the West takes it's time to develop their monopoly breaking Industries. It is not as if China have an exclusive product, there are currently plenty of existing alternatives in operation. Admittedly not as good or efficient but certainly good enough for a couple of years while we construct our own factories. Only a fool threatens their neighbours and still expects them to kowtow. FO
