....but with disposal looking ever more likely/close, will anyone be close on Victory value or sp on completion?

Looks like S&S drummed up loads of interest in RBD at the investor presentation last night.
Buys simply flooding in today!
Sorry SM, but they can own the rights to all the mineral deposits on Mars for all I care. If they can't provide any value to shareholders from the assets, who cares? Would appear that the market has no faith despite what you posted.
Bottom line is that they have more than halved the value of most LTH's positions over the past 3 years, please refer to my post 17:26 Friday.
Maybe we'll get an RNS on Victory sale this week & jump to 1/pps. That doesn't vindicate a p!ss poor performance by 2 overpaid ****s whose ego's are far greater than their ability to deliver.
I agree Mani, more at the end of my patience tbh. Just wish they were able to execute their stated strategy, or at least be honest about prospects for shareholders. Quote below is from their website, not sure they understand the definition of "short timescale", or "significant return" for that matter. They've certainly been very good at "providing funding" though.
https://reabold.com/about-us/strategy/
"By providing funding to catalyse the progression of high quality projects, we make possible a significant return in project value over a short period of time."
Anyway, back to the RBD share price. Think there has been some really interesting views expressed over the past few days, fantastic to get informed positions & perspectives from genuine holders.
dee, glad you're still accumulating, you were one of the few that had the bottle to buy at 0.11, so good luck to you.
I know you & SMc have raised the sp manipulation specter, but I just don't buy it. Why would the MMs bother? Surely far better to have rapidly appreciating share they can buy/sell on a decent spread rather than a dull non mover with little volume? Even if there was some orchestrated attempt to manipulate the sp, that is only possible because of the news vacuum created by our BoD,. So whichever way you slice & dice this, the current rubbish sp performance is 100% down to them (IMHO).
I also agree that the remuneration needs to be brought in line with performance. £50K bonuses last year were simply not warranted. They lost a chunk of options in February, but most of us here have lost a chunk of share value, so tough luck. I expect they're going to reward themselves with more options shortly, which would be a disgrace.
As mentioned in a previous post, David B was very excited about the soon to be released WN update about a month ago. I'm just hoping we get that through in the next couple of days along with definitive Victory news. Something should give soon.
Anyone planning to make the AGM?
Gents, don't want to interject if this is a private conversation, but you just can't ignore how badly the 2 very well remunerated "Co-CEO's" have performed as demonstrated by the share price.
When I first bought in here, it was all about Cali, Grizzley Island, Stephen's "favorite", Parta, Coulter/Wick and a few bits and bobs and we were sitting at 0.7/8pps with gas/oil prices a fraction of their current levels.
Fast forward 3 years, £30M+ (?) has been raised at ever decreasing levels despite the BoD explicitly promising not to do so & we're sitting 50% down from those levels (75% down if you measure from the realistic peak share price).
We have notionally far better assets now & much higher prices for those assets, so why is the sp so low.
The only realistic answer is that Stephen & Sachin have performed so badly, no-one believes a word they say. You're in charge, you're responsible.
I personally still believe in our assets, but would boot them out & get a competent (singular) CEO in place.
One thing definitely not on fire is RBD's share price......someone light the touchpaper!
Yes, get your point Uggy, you never know though.
Not really got any crypto, but it is pretty fascinating as a concept & looking at it out of interest. Still a while to go before it bottoms out, carnage if you were heavily invested.
With both AGMs next week, hoping we'll get something concrete by the 23rd.
Be interesting to see if you get a response on the other board Uggy.
Blue skies ahead, can only hope so!
Need to get some cash out of here soonish to stick into the Crypto market once that hits the bottom.
Fair comment re this being to the buyer's timescale Smythery. Also well put that:"But we do have the 31st August completion date - completion not agreement - backstop which tells us the outside timeframe for getting to that stage. To reach that an agreement will have to come well before"UJO AGM on 22nd June, so maybe WN update before then
From squiresquire on ADVFN. No idea if there is anything in this & just from some-one on another BB, but they may be well informed/connected. Would be nice if both the timescale & prognosis are correct. Makes you wonder where we might be if they had got the WN drills right first time round (operator issue, not BoD). Sorry Uggy, you're referenced!
"Uggy Do you really have no understanding of what is happening here? We have known for ages that only way to complete the studies to discover the best way to release the oil and gas from our discovery, which is clearly of very significant proportions, is to do exactly that. To Study, to plan, to deal with the commensurate paperwork and then to expedite. We are soon, very soon, about to see the dynamics begin that will remedy or not our flow rates. We have the best teams involved, they are confident and everyone i read from, and hear about who is actually involved, seems to be happy and confident. Dont forget that while we all write stuff on these boards actual experts are working away. Not long now, chill and enjoy the ride it could be really very special indeed as the measured oil so far is totally spectacular."
Can only hope so dee, long stop date in Aug though, so realist in me expects this to drag longer than H1 based on past performance........Unless the prospect of getting a kicking at the AGM end June means they actually get this done to the declared timescale.
I expect they also want some good news for the investor event on the 28th (I think).
High number of "unknown" trades today, not big volume or anything exciting, just quite unusual. Out of interest, anyone know why this might be the case?
Good weekend all, hope you get a beer Saturday dee!
RickRoll on Monday with for "the" magic red dot.......
Jack, Smytherly,
As RNST & P keep proving, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing....
Keep up the good work!
LOL, nice one Jack.
At any point, we could see SP “Shock and Awe”
I think the "At any point" statement is important, they do seem to have been able to keep a very tight lid on news and prevented any leaks.
& then a sales goes through for £2.62 just to spite me!
“Daniel’s” lol.......that was a good one, late finish or early start for you today dee?
Very good point you make about the tax breaks & effective "real cost" to a company of the development being a fraction of the actual cost.
All decent sized trades going through so far this morning.
Fair point well made Manwell, think like most here, I just want to see them actually deliver something tangible and a decent move north in the sp.
DB looked like he had ants in his pants about a pending WN update when he was interviewed following UJO's annual results. That was 3 weeks ago & still we wait with no news.
I know this is your field, so I might just be totally unrealistic about timescales, but only going by what they seem to keep promising.
Hopfully some news "soon" :-)
Uggy fell at Beechers Brook today, straight race to the finish line for Manwell & deemule on 20.06 as far as timing goes.
Here's hoping deemule bags all 3 (sorry Manwell :-))
