As for the odonells. I told them to get a grip. Piddling about over fractions.
And I said we will slide.... Remember. So rich.... I'm not deramping....
We've got till end of the month before o told you so....
Get ready to meet 7s again. It's knocking on the door.
But who really fu&&&ING cares? I don't
kier....
yep - i see your point. although the biggest growth market is europe. canada are established providers but... they dont have the approvals for europe. hence emmac is great because we have the knowledge/experience and connections - within emmac.
hence why they would need to be on an aggressive acquistion strategy - which they are doing. its almost canada versus emmac. one that wants to break into the market - another (with others) trying to gain market share.
its a blood bath tbh.
in terms of selling factom and putting more into cannabis - i disagree. depends on how mich we get from investments. but we have robotics , AI, etc etc.....
why not diversity? but in the short term, lets build some capital into the nav ffsk.... then we get the word ive always being looking to say....
scalability.
of course some of our investments are worth f.all. doggo/wadnob saif yooya was a china youtube, we now know that its just a marketing software platform. thats it. vemo - was a disasater, and dbc - is a pile of crap.
but thats all good when you are seriously diversified. leap is our saviour, emmac/juv our long term.
we need to sell leap and possibly factom and get scaling
good on you lord snoot - anyway - apart from cricket... and lets be honest, we have hit a bit of a dry spell with ffwd. but regarding factom.... one thing i know...
they are making money, they are revenue generating, and so the neccesity for funding series b isnt critical.
so... for me. whatever is going on behind the scenes, whatever you think may or may not happen, whatever you think and come up with colourful ideas on what the deal structure will look like for us... factom.... is... making money.
and so... from my persepctive, looking at zee bigger picture, im happy with our original agreement with them, it was a great deal tbh, and since its our biggest holding.... im even more happy. our big toy is revenue generating.
as for the future with factom, my opinon is that this is not a unicorn. its something that will be bought out eventually, although paul might not be happy about that.
they are not a merkting machine, they dont know how to market factom... so they either invest further, for marketing, after they release info on all the companies they have nda's with... or they get bought out.
paul will probably want world domination and i can see that he treats factom as his baby, a bit like jobmove is my baby i guess.
personally - i want factom bought out as i dont believe they have they infrastructure/experience to be global and dominate. they need a transition. just my opinion. they have the knowledge/developers and itellectual property. but thats as far as i think factom is for us. if they prove me wrong.... i will be delighted. but paul is a geek, not a marketeer. remember that.
its all good news though, just not a unicorn for us in my opinion because of the setup of the company.
my preference would clearly be not to be bought out yet, and ipo... but i cannot see that for factom. even if some big wig did say that they wpuld be bigger than x,y,z combined. thats easy words to say from a billionaire
Are you at the match?
yes rich, that was naugthy of you. next time we will put you in the naughty corner for 10 minutes!
i just see it as it is right now LordSnooty.... but as i have said... many times... it will get better.
have a good weekend ya'll
and i still think i am LordSnooty. you said friday blue....
i said... we slide.... and we will do all through july, as i have also said to Rich.
But - longer term... fine.... just preparing myself... (and so should you btw), for what i think will come.
How's your prediction of a blue day looking lordsnooty?! I'm saying.... Sliding.... This won't turn blue for a while now. As I told rich yesterday.
Is what it is.
Results can't be far away now
hi rich. ive read through your info. all very valid. investor sentiment to me means people buying into ffwd. as we can now see, buying has once again dried up and we now just have a trickle of sellers. of course i realise that stocks do not go up in straight lines, and even if i look at stocks on my watchlist at present, none of them are doing that well, apart from one... upgs, we i have been tracking and is under the radar from the mob.
so what is puzzling me now is how this sp rises, and starts to gather momentum. that bit i cannot figure out at all. but the i saw web a few months back that jumped 200% on no news?! very strange indeed, and now its back down lower than ever before.
im not name dropping shares btw, just using them as comparisons.
I value Rich's opinions. Got no problem with it. All constructive
My messages are meant to be constructive btw. I would welcome a different perspective
just my opinion. its my largest holding because of diversification and i like leap/emmac/factom.
and juv. forgot to add that one. what i want to see is uplift in the nav and the sale of leap and then further scalability in the portfolio to jump from present nav to something alot bigger.
im just preparing for what i think will be another slide. thats all.
but if it jumps, and im wrong..... boy... i willl be delighted to be proved wrong.
but saying ffwd 'always trades 30% above nav' - thats not looking very clever right now is it!
i dont see what other news you are expecting (short term) that will lift this....
1) juv / emmac - ipo next year - all good for us... but its next year - nav will rise
2) vogogo - no where near anything exciting for us just yet
3) FACTOM - i believe will not need 2nd round funding - all good for us, but we are not gonnna sell it yet, and if we do get series b... then again... based on previous rns's.. intensity as a prime example.... sp remained the same
4) vemo/dbc - dead ducks not worth mentoning
5) ptgef - liquid asset. ok so list on nasdaq - next year maybe - good for nav
6) leap - the only one that i can see that will double sp over night
any further aquisitions, as with emmac - will not lift the sp. so what news you are expecting i am all ears becuase i seriously do not know what will lift the sp atm, based on news to come and as i keep saying... investor sentiment.
but long term... a year from now, as i have repeatedly said with the ipo's coming, and a proper angle on factom, then nav will increase, we will just have to wait for the market to catchup.
just my opinion. its my largest holding because of diversification and i like leap/emmac/factom.
thats it atm.
ok rich - lets do this another way...
1) look at what happened when we sold aphira for 500% profit..... thats the big move.
2) we were always 30% above nav, we are not anymore, and to get back there need over a 50% increase
3) No-one, myself included thought for a minute we would go below 10p - we did
4) i joked about seeing you all at 8.6, 3-4 months ago... look where we were 3 weeks ago (ish)
5) we have not rose 60%, we went from 6.75 ish to 9. something.... and now back down
Now... that all seems doom and gloom from me, probably about to be called a deramper again, but, im just seeing things for what they are, investors in the wider community are not looking at ffwd yet, we are still getting sellers and we were crippled recently be some big sellers seriously off loading. one even came on here and told us!
this is my biggest holding as ive said before, happy with that and will wait for the spike, but... im a realist. unless something comes out of the blue and hits us alll between the eyes, like a leap sale, then.... even with results due....
we are slidiing..... i see us anywhere between 6.45 and 9s. until boom time.
Rich....
"Who cares! This will drift down for a while again probably because investor sentiment.... Is crap. "
im sticking by this. we can see whos right/wrong in 2 weeks. market has dictated what they want and so until thsat happens.... we drift.... down
And to add to Rich's comment. I don't think any of us read the whole lot odonnell. We get the message after the first paragraph tbh!
O'Donnell's.... My intent is not too offend you. I apologise if I have to your wife.
But.... When I said get a grip.... I mean it.
You are looking at the sp at a decimal point level. Analysing each buy or sell. Completely forgetting the bigger picture. You said yourself that you are looking at £s and so worrying about the SP dropping .1p is silly.
Investor sentiment is not with ffwd ATM. But that will all change. Sentiment can change in one minute on aim.
So I stick by what I said. But meant no offence.
Nooooo. It's more than £500 quid lordsnooty haha
I think we've sold leap for £15m.
