RE: Re Not Worth It an AGM6 Jun 2018 00:58
earlier today i said i wouldnt post anymore on this, and here i am... again?! futher to my prevoius link below at the oculus website reviews (50% good, 50% crap roughly speaking!), RBBe, i have read your post with interest, i would if i may like to draw your attention, and everyone else's for that matter.... away from the share price. this is a startup. Ive had several. i have a moto... in business you are either an architect, builder or maintainer. normally not all 3 (like bill gates!). i saw a post somewhere recently suggesting that the company should invest in more marketeers as opposed to software developers. well, this company (and the people behind it) are clearly demonstrating values of being architects... maybe builders (jury is out on that one for now). And the belief that some how they will have huge revenues day one is ridiculous since hardly anyone has a VR Headset?!!! so get real folks! how are they going to get huge revenues in year 1?! There are big investors behind the scenes here as most of us know, and i am sure that in time, if they feel that the marketing element needs a 'new dimension' then i am positive that they will know exactly how to execute that. Apple perhaps? who knows?! anyway... RBBe, im like you... i love listening to live music on youtube, but thats just you and me, and i dont know these bands either. but not everyone is like you and me! and theres about 2 billion people out there right? this is so early stages. they have a foot hold in the music industry, the technology apparently seems good, improvements can be made of course?! but it really is time to stop looking at the sp. theres no get rich quick thing here.... but hold on for a couple of years - im pretty sure you wont be looking at 10.3p or 18p... i have no idea where it will be - but it wont be here. music artists will be able to reach a far wider audience, outside of the venues, people will pay to be up close and personal with them. so your only question should be... is this company well positioned to do this, or is someone else doing it better, quicker, and with better marketing strategies.... i think i know the answer
