The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Totally agree. I’ve been in this share longer than most, through the “£1 party” bull carp. Tbh I’d forgotten about and written them off as I’ve been kicked so many times. But I’m (again) not selling a single one as this time I honestly feel like it’s different, and this *could* be the one. I’m certainly not gonna pin my hopes on it cause I’ve been here so many times before. I certainly wouldn’t blame any LTH for top slicing. Let’s just enjoy the ride, have a target and stick to it, it’s been a long time coming.
Yeah. Wake me up when we’ve had another 800% rise FROM THIS POINT and I’ll start to get interested again.
That won’t happen. Nothing positive will happen while conn is in charge. He is out of his depth here, and his only answer is to save money by making redundancies and reshuffling the pack. Pretty soon there will be no one left to man the sinking ship anyway, let alone grow it! Lots of talk but no action or investment I’m afraid. I hold him personally responsible for my many thousands losses, this is supposed to be a blue chip company, but since he took over has become a laughing stock of the stock market. I’m not taking it personally but was it Einstein that said the definition of madness is to try the same thing over and over again and expect a different outcome?
Just heard off a mate (BG engineer) that the vote to reduce their pensions has been passed. Sounds like it always a ‘like it or lump it’ kind of vote. ‘No morale and no prospects’ were his words. Sounds like they’ve given up. At least conn has saved a bob or two there. Sounds like an even shitttter job than mine!!
Brilliant. At 1.4p I'm only FIFTY percent down!! Yay. Haha.
I +1 that post! Well said.
Jesus mate. I thought that was going to be a joke when I started reading it!
MODA. Is this not a good enough price!? I’d kill to have this current price as my average!
Just on a side note, does garrym still post on here nowadays? Always enjoyed his posts with him being in the industry.
My god! Not looked in on here for a while, and when I do, it’s like a rerun of six months ago - first two posts I see are cactus and Valhalla. Spouting the same ‘I told you do’ bull shit they spammed the board with weeks ago, saying the SAME DAMN THING. Give it a rest and grow up! It’s ok to be optimistic about the future, and not look back with hindsight and spout ‘what ifs’. I suggest you take a well deserved break from here, and take that wingnut guy with you. I believe Afghanistan is nice this time of year......
I'm not. We've been up and down like a bride's nightie over the last two years, but not much further than this. I think people still believe in the assets we have, and are becoming hardened to the odd setback.
Interesting thought moneyhawk. They do say that the data obtained to date is sufficient to attract a farm- in partner.
Remember DW has never said anything other than that this is a 50/50 play. I've never been under any illusion that this wasn't a risk. It isn't yet working, but to suggest this is the end for 88e is ludicrous, short sighted and ill-informed. The word 'patience' gets banded about a lot, but is more relevant now than ever. This will come good. We do have oil. This was always the icing on the cake. We now go get the cake.
Daniel. They've messed up far more than that, it is the nature of fracking new wells. There isn't a blueprint for it. They have also delivered clear, consistent results to date, fully communicated the outcomes of each stage of the project, good or bad, and they most certainly are not guessing. If you want your little hissy fit, fine, but don't do it on here looking like a little girl.
Ok. Not the news we wanted, but NOWHERE does the RNS say it is a flop. Read it properly before spouting your drivel on here. It just is what it is, and the BOD have made a decision. Icewine isn't over. But we may have taken it as far as we economically want to. Kick in the nuts maybe, but only one iron in the fire that hasn't gone as we'd dreamed. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
Jumpinjack 03:23 “Hoping we get some GOOD interim 3D news soon. Have traded this since 2015 & am in the red for 1st time. Not a nice feeling !” Welcome to the club - I’ve NOT traded this at all, since 2016. I’ve hardly ever been OUT of the red.
Absolutely frightening, and only serves to show what an unregulated hell-hole the stock market can be. Anybody can say what they want to without implication, and willingly mislead for your own agenda. Or just be like these guys and pretend to know what you are talking about on readily available podcasts, internet etc... what's that saying about emtpty vessels...
CD66 - I agree, TW bashes so many stocks, he's bound to call a couple right. I, personally wouldn't listen to anything he says based on this. (Although I wish I had re: CTAG). Top and bottom is, he has probably never BEEN to Alaska, let alone seen the icewine project. I doubt he's even that familiar with icewine or done much research into it's potential. We can all kick a stock on its way down and claim we called it. You'll notice most shut the hell back up when that stock starts to rise again. So I'll keep my trust in the academics on site, who specialise in getting oil out of the ground, and NOT some guy who claims to be an 'analyst' (guesses whether there is oil there depending on whether the sp is rising or falling)
“3p crew feeling a bit silly now? ?“. Yet another stupid one liner designed to get people’s backs up...
Darkelf is unfortunately one of those pointless posters that adds nothing to anything. I’ve had the misfortune of having to ignore his one liners (that he obviously thinks are funny to try and wind people up with) on a couple of BBs. Best just to not respond to it. He’s just more irritating than trolling. Either way, loving the rise over the last few days and long may it continue. Very unnecessary drop in sp over winter, at least serving as a chance to add a bargain, being put right now. Back to business as usual with the steady progress, and I honestly don’t see this as a risk any more. Roll on the 11th June. GLA
