I watched Sandy's take on Innovations and he seems like a great guy but I can't help but notice the strange feeling that he is much like most engineers that have spent most of their lives trapped in legacy motor engineering. Now that he is free to see what free reign for engineering feels like, he has unrealistic and untamed ideals like most engineers. I get it when he says we have no idea of what is possible but the limits are still the same in today's world. Tesla motors will have a make it or break it day of Reckoning soon.

What divident income stream is to be gained from Tesla or Bitcoin? Even if Elon said he was going to pay dividends to share holders, it would just be a money bleeding event for the company. Speculation is what makes Tesla and nothing more. Elon never delivers but over-promises. When Tesla crashed down to $10 a share you will come to your senses. Tesla is not apple or Microsoft, Tesla is a runaway bubble train on the road to a bitter crash. History books will be littered with Elon and the bubble mania as prime examples of greed and speculation.

Don't forget Elon was not the founder of Tesla, he was just an investor in Series A. In fact he was the fourth CEO to take the helm. Sure he made some great strides but Tesla was already a great company that benefitted from a great stock market manipulation agent called Elon. For the most part Elon is not as great as he is credited. Just ask Mark Tarppening and Martin Ebberhard how they feel ......lol

Very true indeed Jep. It's only a matter of time before the house of cards succumbs to the huge gust of wind coming from the storm. The stock market has been going up non stop for far too long this bull run is beyond belief and shorters will become trillionaires if the timing is perfect. I have seen companies with no premises, no operations, no staff, no money, no product or service and just a name, make millions from rising share prices based on speculation and greed alone.

Yeah I watch Warren Redlich and Meet Kevin every now and then. It's nice to have a diluted mixed perspective even if some of the information comes from Tesla choir boys. Creative accounting and buying own stocks is common-place. Most estimates that are used for quarterly performance indexing are easy to manipulate. Tesla could make anything seem possible right now because the share price even rises on bad news. Factory has a small fire incident? Price goes up. Competition makes announcement? Price goes up. Elon says it's overvalued? Price goes up after a moment's pause. Investors sell off? Price goes up. Sec sues? Price goes up. This is what happens to bubble stocks. Common sense is deleted and then when the crash happens it becomes a reverse performer. It goes down on good news. It goes down on bad news and it goes down daily on no news. It will just sink like the Titanic..... first slowly, then all of a sudden a huge gulp.

Very funny DodoBerry101, Dumbpunter seems to always pull out real facts with links and evidence of clear and concisely argued points that contradict the delusions of the cult and you dismiss us with more meaningless noise. Even if Tesla moons as you say (which is very unlikely) it will just be a bigger ride down when it falls. Elon is just a Conman playing the market as usual with his careless tweets that clearly violate securities rules. Eventually he will be outed and held to account. Just remember what he did in the recent past with his other failing companies and why investors have frequently lined up to sue him for the antics he plays with their money. Even if tech companies are a signifier for the future to come, the current leaders may not be around or in the lead to deliver the promises made by Tesla. This already happened in the dot com bubble. We were promised e-commerce would boom and deliver new ways to conduct business online and yes this was delivered but not by the market leaders at the time. Amazon was a rarity but the rest folded like books and turned the whole stock market into an office full of folders. Whether or not Tesla will fold is not entirely the point, it is that the price will fall in line with peers.

I just hope those really interesting men somewhere in the unstable part of the middle East who spend most of their day muttering incoherent slogans about 52 virgins in heaven on a two way ham radio, don't figure out that a Tesla is essentially just a computer on wheels that can be easily compromised and hijacked. Lord knows what an interesting time it will be for people in those large crowd gatherings as they run for dear life from a Tesla gone rogue. I know sometimes I blow smoke and ruffle some feathers about Tesla but some of the stuff I'm reading here is just delusional and beyond belief.
