Love your name. Indeed Omi is an intriguing investment case with a small mcap and not a huge amount of shares swirling around. The main buzz around orosur is the flagship project Anza which is located in the rich gold region namely the mid-cauca belt. This is host to many substantial mines. Orosur itself is early stage, just completed phase 1 and the majors have all but signed phase 2 which is a case of negotiating the finer details, forming new contracts etc and has been dubbed the drill phase in which we should start to get regular updates of results as the drill program deepens and intensifies. Quite some time off mining, however majors want to prove the whole land package before making decisions on mining. They also have a couple of low cost entry virgin projects that are just starting on their journey....may or not may be something in them. For me it's a good time to dip your toe into orosur if you are not in already. Word of caution it can dip and spike quite hard and can be frustrating at times but the fundamentals seem to be moving in the right direction.

I'm probably same as you vicjain I'm happy with my holding but have set aside a reasonable sum aside if we dip to 10p range. Anything under 10 and i might rob a bank. Bit disappointed though that we couldn't hold 14p which was ambitious and certainly 12p....I am convinced that we won't have to wait until December to get results though I expect more then also. I suspect but obviously don't know that we'll get something from Colombia shortly so will be disappointed if Brad holes on to results for a few months like he did with pep01.

Realistically you need the share price to be 9p to get that 10p entry

10p would certainly be a nice entry point. Not sure it's going to get there though. A few big buys going in, although not great volume currently...Spread is super wide as well, happy to take from you on the cheap and have you pay a premium....Brazil RNS is clearly coming shortly as he's in Brazil again, Argentina will be coming back online after the hard Patagonian winter. Only 3 holes have so far been reported from Anza and it's now been a month since we got the pep hole. Surely the retested ones ar back or very close to being. I imagine Brad will be visiting all 3 on this South American adventure and RNS coming for all in next few weeks.

Mr digit. The coming year should be spectacular on the ground with plenty drilling. Good place to be, strong balance sheet and majors funding flagship program. Like I said healthiest the company has been in a long time.

We know the majors have done a wealth of sampling and it's all systems go at Anza. Plenty drilling going on. Would like holes to be reported quicker, regardless if they've had to be re-tested. I think that is one of the reasons why we spoke and tail back. Plus other explorers are getting results within 1 month which makes me suspect they know alot more than market.

I agree, tough times ahead. We already can see everybody and their dog are looking for pay rises and it looks like very public, public sector strikes are being lined up. Certainly in my sector which is health care, and where I live, folks are completely fed up with the pay squeeze, lack of competent staffing and an ever increasing, unrealistic work load. The masses haven't been making as much noise as I expected yet, but it's surely going to come, it's just a matter of time.

As much as I enjoy banter and especially different views it would be good for some proper discussion on the board. Anyone have any logical ideas of when we will get holes reported? I think the general consensus is that we well have to wait for the usual quarterly Colombia update, but does anyone think that holes may in-fact be reported earlier?

Yes Robb I think orosur in this JV at Anza can do something special. I've always had this feeling, it's been tough at times from highs to lows to highs and again to lows etc but I'm purely looking at this from a potential aspect. Who knows if this will be a mine in the future, who knows what the mcap will end up being in the future. Are we priced fairly or not? Nobody has a crystal ball.....at this point my initial assessment is that around 14p is probably fair until something else comes to light, especially after being at 7p and rising after that fantastic hole and phase 2 news. Of course there was going to be a drop from tickling 19p and of course now we are in a "watch and wait" phase, until more news materialises. But the facts speak for themselves. Drilling continues, majors are signing up for the next 4 years and it seems all areas at Anza are looking to be drilled over 2 years at no cost to the Orosur balance sheet. This is the best health that the company has been in since I've been invested. I don't really think as investors we should be concentrating on if there is a viable mine or not yet as decisions like that are years off. We shouldn't be thinking at this point in time if Anza will be bought out....my understanding that cannot happen currently anyways...we just need to concentrate on are there drills turning, are the grades good or not, are more areas being drilled, are licences and permits coming through and is the project moving forward. I think most of this is answered positively. This is a chance to invest in a project that is moving into drill phase that could bring us as sharholders growth. The mcap isn't huge even after the rise and this is in a situation where the whole sector is on its knees, that could go on longer of course, there could be pain still, and if results don't go the right way the market will punish, but as a collective in the junior space there is not many stocks that give this much potential. If the sector picks up in the next couple of years then we are placed to take full advantage.

Definitely an exciting place to be and since the majors are keen to carry on I'm not going to argue with their superior knowledge and expertise.

The thing is I know this is only going one way but with the market being what it is, to get thosw warrants away from where we are, the news is going to be pretty spectacular and it's going to have to hit continuously. Come on Brad.

Yes clarits the reserve here and the money that can be made per annum is not to be sniffed at, especially at this mcap. Nice hold this.

Seingred i don't doubt the reason for the name change. You are right that it was due to illegal miners operating in the area and to try and keep that side of things in check. But it's not something that is wholly idemic to Orosur, it happens in all areas of the world. "Danger" just seems a little strong when it's an issue which all companies face when mining and are hitting solid grades.....I admire your strategy Seingred, and you clearly do your research... not sure though if you are in at the moment or not, or perhaps looking for a cheaper entry?

Orosur is my main holding and it's really going to do some damage over the next couple years now that phase 2 is secured and with 150m of 150g/t but this one has certainly got me excited, especially with reserves like that in a world with energy crisis.

Doesn't stop all those huge mines from turning a profit in the mid cauca belt tho does it.
