The interesting point is that on Friday 30th June after the early fall of 3p or more the sp rose again to finish only 1p down on the day which was a remarkable recovery. I suppose it could have been a fund buying to improve their quarterly figures but nonetheless it was quite a swing in one day.

I think HE keeps a tight ship. In any event I’m hoping that Thursday plus the next tanker load will see an improvement in the sp.

Escargot, I regard you as having been quite fortunate. I’ve had more than twice the problem as I was in JOG as well.
However I’m extremely confident in my large exposure here and have been for five years. The main problem is that of continuing to be patient. I’m a patient guy but after so long you start to twitch and feel you’ve waited for long enough. Hopefully the next six months will clarify matters.

Being an eternal optimistic type of guy, I still remain confident as in my view the Lancaster oil alone should see us through to an approach or two from a major. The current price is too low and a great buy at present.
In any event it would appear the two outstanding drills of 2019 are meant to be easier than the WD.

The CMD presentation should provide much sought after guidance; we must then wait until September for the next drill result. Thank goodness the posters who are a sandwich short of a picnic seem to have disappeared.

Thursday’s election results should be interesting reading. However no more politics as the Euro results are now concluded.

I hope you will attend the AGM where you can ask a question or two and obtain reassurances about your investment.

We will be news driven during the next few months as we head towards a summit of perhaps £1 by first oil in December or January. It is reassuring that some big buys are being made by some big investors.

With your assets you should have a good IFA. Otherwise speak to your accountant. And of course check what your lifetime allowance is as if you are lucky or had good foresight it might be £1.8m. If you only have a £1m limit I suggest you withdraw 25% cash prior to exceeding £1m fund value. As already mentioned do not trust strangers!!

If your IFA or accountant cocks up their professional indemnity policy should pay any losses. Strangers will disappear into cyber space.

I've also just returned, from the second meeting at the Goat Tavern; good to see Genghis again, SIPP, Biffadog, LTInvestor and others to compare notes. And good that holders came down from Aberdeen and Glasgow The important points for me were that Dr T expected first oil to be in early 2019 and that they would be prepared to consult with others once they had 6 to 12 months oil production as they would then be more clearly aware of exactly how much oil they were sitting on. He also mentioned they had 3 options for gas but of course that would be later. I thought he hesitated before answering the question about what would happen if an early approach were made but he then said it would be dealt logically and that they had a plan in place. Hopefully Kerogen would be supportive until the undoubtedly large assets are proven!! Great to see the original cofounder at the meeting who received two rounds of applause. I thought first oil could arrive in early January but afterwards a well known commentator thought it might even be in December.With fair weather that could be the case. I suspect that once they are pumping 10,000 barrels per day a predator might pounce which could be any time between December and March. I'm open to corrections from others who took detailed notes.

ADUK & MissDosh, A very interesting report by the sound of things though I haven't downloaded it but 6 copies have been taken sofar. It will be interesting to see how many are taken by the end of June as any corporation interested in HUR would surely want a copy. I'm confident the sp will continue to show an uptrend during the coming months.

I meant to recommend the Chequers Tavern at 2 Duke Street but I see the Goat Tavern is better and just around the corner. I'll have a coffee first at the meeting just before the start followed by an interesting meeting and then coffee & pastries with Dr T and others for a chat. Finally a couple of beers around the corner to clarify just how much we are really worth!!

I would suggest the buyer of the 3.5m shares at the close yesterday has given us a great reassurance and an indication that HUR is worth a lot more. I expect the sp to continue ticking up during the next few weeks. In fact it looks like we will have an enjoyable summer. I'm also looking forward to seeing the huge grin on Doc T's face next week.
