It is also clear that JOG has an interesting year ahead. The SP is very much undervalued and I expect it to continue increasing during the year.

Every trade this morning appears to be a buy - I wonder why? JOG is worth more than twice the current SP and of course has valuable tax losses!!

Like many others on this forum I am most grateful for the analysis made by Dick over the years and wish him well in his health battles.

In an earlier life Dick was an accountant and his financial analysis was second to none. A post in June estimated a value of £5 with which I fully agree. Having said that, the directors might wish to hold out for more, most certainly if an earlier bid arrives.

I remain extremely confident about JOG’s future!!

Everything is at last falling into place for JOG and I suspect news in November will confirm our good fortune.

I tip my hat not only to Dick for his splendid posts in the past but also to substantial holder Jim who purchased even more shares when the sp fell to 50p. A very brave move which has succeeded. I purchased more but only after 100p had been reached.

The future looks fine with as much as £5 in sight. When I find time I’ll try to find one of Dick’s valuations for everyone.

I’ve been a holder for more than 10 years and suspect all long term holders remain positive, even more positive than previously.

JOG is much undervalued and the SP should soon find its way to £2 before slowly but surely climbing to the £3/4 level.

As soon as the wells start flowing the sp should rise rapidly. The tax assets are considerable so do not rule out a predator

I’m more convinced than ever that our owners will be given permission to proceed. The government need more income and less expenditure.

The recent Reform meeting in Aberdeen and the Millipede/ Starmer disagreements are an indication we will be granted approval. As usual patience is required as it’s just a matter of time.

Have to say that GGG and Crl are correct. I just wonder what limit TXP have under their professional indemnity policy - hope they have one!

FWIW my thoughts are that the sudden fall is overdone.

I’ve only been here for 9 years and am more convinced than ever that we will see a huge uplift in the sp. There is no doubt that energy prices are crippling both the general population and industry so it’s just a matter of time until the worm turns.

In the meantime it’s good to hear from both Dick and Jim!!

Let’s hope that after tomorrow’s meeting in Aberdeen the necessary changes are made sooner rather than later !!

I’m optimistic we will soon hear that our North Sea assets are needed , thus I’ve just added more to my existing shedful. The door just about closes!

Today’s Hamilton election result may open the floodgates as labour should get a hiding.

I expect to see positive news before the end of spring and the SP increasing steadily before then. Once the news is announced I expect to see a “whoosh” propelling us to earlier heights .

In the meantime us long standing holders continue to wait patiently!

Just bought another 28,000 to reduce my average SP. I agree, this week should be excellent for TXP despite their history!!

I increased my holding this morning and am confident KIST is now on an upward trend.

I'm trying to become a poster of few words but it sometimes does me an injustice! I meant to say an SP up to £4.00 in the relative short term as I fully appreciate that once contract payments have been made to us and drilling commences our assets will mean the figure mentioned above will be exceeded..

However, I'm unsure how many times higher the SP will reach until oil/gas is produced. In any event I'm positive 2025/26 will prove remarkable for JOG.

I’m confident two tier starmer will soon announce that North Sea drilling is being allowed.

Expect the SP to continue increasing northwards! We could see an SP of up to £4.00

Stay in as the SP will go higher plus there is the strong probability of a predator eating us!!

The last thing we should do is align ourselves with Europe as they will then take even more money from us.

At the current price level GSK is a cracking buy. Don’t forget the SK was Smith Kline and that much of their turnover is US produced.
