I suspect that they have not taken cash but have either run up a loan to the company to be secured on say all the Circum shares or will take "wages" in shares at this low level. GR is a slippery one if you did not know already.

And lovely dividend due to be paid tomorrow which will be most welcome. Unlike a few insurance companies and others that will defer dividends until probably Q4 this year.

Have held these for ages and apart from a couple of stupid forays (coal in Mozambique, litigation over Simandou) these shares have not disappointed. Looking forward to dividend for a solid yield.

Some companies will use Coivid19 as an excuse to cut or scrap the dividend but I am sure that they will not hesitate to increase remuneration packages for the top management. After all there will be more money available !

Juyamah.....Agree with you on VOD and BT in which I will be increasing current position but have also bought LGEN and APF for long term good dividend yields. Have held RIO for very many years.APF is a bit out of the ordinary but I believe that they are very savvy operators. Not cross promoting but just sharing thoughts with a like minded investor looking for attractive yields.

Just to get back on topic CEY after all the political stuff over the past dozen or so posts. Looking at the RNS of 30 Jan 2020 re future guidance I have taken lower production figure of 510k ozs and $900 for AISC and average gold price of $1500 for 2020. Gives overall gross margin of $306 million. After overheads, exploration in country and sustaining capex I believe that there will be ample room for a full year dividend of 8p given the cash position as well. Not a shoddy yield for a good gold producer.

Finley.....I have been ready to buy LGEN for the past two weeks amongst others (APF and CEY) and greatly admire their stance of rewarding the owners of the company (shareholders) and will be filling the ISA tomorrow. I am taking a 2yr view on any new investment now although accept that I might not be buying at the absolute bottom now. The Guardian can say what it wants but it is worth remembering that it is the shareholders that own companies not directors and many sensible people will have put aside a nest egg and will be relying on the likes of LGEN for some income. I am sure that many ISA's and SIPP's hold this share as do virtually every corporate or union pension fund. If AV and other companies are in a position to pay a dividend then they should.

I agree and having seen Barnier , crazy haircut Verhofstadt and the gang over the past couple of years I suggest that they concentrate on their own problems.

There can be many reasons for an "insider" selling shares and could be tax related. I am not concerned about it and am buying Aviva, LGEN and Anglo Pacific on Monday/Tuesday next week 50% in ISA and 50% for general portfolio. Have a safe week-end all.
