So, I mentioned a while ago my own oncologist, has been working tirelessly in diagnostic trials and liquid biopsies trials a the expense of two major CAR-T trials they had been working on for some considerable time.

Makes total sense to me to perfect diagnostics, liquid biopsies, catching cancers at an early stage and enjoying more success with the treatments currently avaiable which have improved dramatically the last 2/3 years.

Aside from that can you only imagine how succesful the SCIB and Moditope vaccines will be assisted by such early diagnostics?............................

Interesting treatment being used at Kings College Hospital London, for brain cancer, and I would imagine all conditions. Patients take a fluorescent pink dye drink, which highlights clearly tumour burden, making it easier, and I use that word lightly, to get to and remove the tumours.

They say this prvides better outcomes for patients, which is an obvious but very loose statement. Clearly if the surgeons can see the tumour obviously it makes it easier to remove them. I like the simplicity of the thinking behind a cancer in the brain which has been a cancer so very hard to treat.

Had a great day yesterday, was a sunny hot day, but remaining in my local area revisted a few watering holes I haven"t been to for years ending in my favourite Greek Restaurant with my good lady. So enjoyed it, the things we do so rarely mean so much more these days, and my dastardly plans to enjoy the football feast were shattered simply because i was enjoying myself so much. Phenomanal that only Thursday I took the medical bashing of a lietime, buy as mentioned by a few will from today begin my two week recovery and absolute return to sobrierty.

Dracula sorry you felt i was being rude, I really am not liked by your VAL BB, but was only in high spirits and genuinly pleased to see you over here. I only gave you the same advice as Cars and just about everybody else, but with a touch of frivolity/which was try and research a little of what is going on, it has been a long journey getting here, as you know. Lets leave any issues behind, and i am sure that any genuine questions you have ,there are many of us willing to help or just offer their own opinion. Something you mut have noticed, i did, was the confidence from all our regular posters and reflief and delight that the news flow we have waited so long for is possibly beginning with so much more to come. Quite apart from financial gain which we all seek, even from this level, we are proud and excited at data so far from SCIB1 and very excited by the forthcoming trials which are taking shape nicely. That should bond us all, seeing kinder treatments for cancer patients is the goal of so many, there are many new treatments out there in the last few years, but there are still so many needed desperately. I am very unsure as to whether any of us will see a cure in our lifetime, but to extend patients lives with as few side effets as possible and be able to treat cancer as a chronic condition is our aim, always has been, and I for one am confident we will achieve it with the Science that drives us. So let us all disarm, learn and construtively debate the important issues.

Hanoirocks and a few others you are right to mention my recovery, I was just so thrilled to be out so quickly after a pretty tortuous day and have overdone things a bit, so the two weeks starts now, will be very much here, but very kind to myself and Dracula that includes being very kind to anybody who genuinely wants to be here.

Welome to the Scancell BB, I apologise for clling you the worst poster on AIM. Fourteen was!!!

But whilst you are here, perhaps you might like like to research what we have to offer? This is very different to the VAL BB, where every post causes a debate as to whether it is a sell or a buy.

The only thing we disagree with on here is whether the journey north has started yet, the destination to those who have researched this just a little bit is very clear. Of course we can fail, nothing is a certainty, but find me another Biotech share that has the potential to achieve what we can here??

Anyways good luck here, but your posts just sound like the posters who told you VAL would never commercialise, and you filtered them, reported them and abused them. Just for once research a share you are invested in, then at least you can blame yourself if it fails, not the pesky MMs playing games, and the derampers being a curse. Gilders nice to hear. It hasn"t been that easy to remain upbeat in recent times as you can imagine, but I feel I can speak on behalf of some who post here in saying we truly believe in the Science here and the obvious potential from these levels.

Sometimes we can learn more when the share has reacted in the manner it has, and the satisfaction of seeing our treatments succeed in trial will be all the better with a share price to match our growing IP, and I think the hard times we have endured for so very long will only add to our general humility too. What is quite interesting too Crumbs, there are five people I keep in contact with who are shareholders here and I guess over the last year or so there hasn"t been much to chat about share wise. All of them were pretty much waiting on news if not funding news before increasing already large holdings. Well one just couldn"t take advantage of sub 4, two didn"t say but were very happy with news, and two increased their holdings by 500k and 600k respectively, and in one case had reduced their averages from 23p a year ago to just 11p. I would imagine from five people that is a fairly accurate assessment of how LTH have reacted the last two weeks or so to news. Reflected in the large volumes and buys we have seen since CITYS sell. Me, well I promised not buy more after my 100k buys mid 7s,not so long ago and last week was hardly good timing for me to change my mind as much as I wanted too.

A very good response really after so long of small volumes and just a couple of buys a day. I really hope many newbies joined us at that level too. The Members of Team positive decree that any holders holding here on the first anniversary of their initiation buys receive Rt Honourable status too, lol.as long as holdings are not any less than originally bought. year earlier.

Feeling great guys, hard to believe it was just 66 hours ago I was in a torture chamber, I was always told sympton wise the op wouldn"t make me feel any better, but the key issue was would it make me feel worse? So far so very good, each day feels just that little bit more special, got no idea how successful the op was yet, but I sure got throught it and certainly out. The icing on the cake for me was arriving home to my girlfriend, and seeing her face, you should of seen mine (having been engaged six times) when she pleaded with me to marry her.

Isn"t life amazing, the highs and the lows, and as we get older I like to think the wisdom to really appreciate every moment of it. Lets hope we all share that feeling here too.

Agree about constant updates, wasn't really talking about ""constant"" though, but I guess putting out an RNS in 2017/2018 saying we are not yet ready for manufacture, toxicity testing but trials planned for H1 2020 would not have been the most well received we have ever had!!!

Still think the new appointments RNS was a sign that all is ready to go, and agree totally Adrian has been a key recruit, and a sign too that our plan is to go to multi trials with MOD1 under our banner.

I think at this stage I would prefer to leave MOD2, and MOD3, TCR etc out of the equation, unless you guys feel there is key information there, as we have many new followers I believe, and too much information about what is coming after SCIB1/2, MOD1 would be very challenging.
I think that RNS gives us big clues to the sites we will be using in the U.K. and i do believe if BioNTech were to fund us, we would only add to their plans to hit America.

We used to ask four /five years ago who has actually heard of us, well from Flaherty and the American team, to Project Blueprint, Sahin and CAB and many events chaired by Lindy we are in no doubts as to that, and when we talk of a commercial deal, BioNTech would lead the market at 4/6 on IMHO.

How reassuring is it to have with our new recruits an in house operation, and to see the expertise and access to CAB to further our charge. I guess we are still that small company on AIM, but our set up is growing as Chiplin promised three years ago.

Dracula, they got a price the market was prepared to pay, the shares have been snapped up by those given a price they felt was fair.

Good news for us PIs the shares have been sold and will not be drip fed to counter out any rises for a while to come.

How do we know BioNTech haven"t done a deal, a TR1 on the 6m and subsequent buys will be interesting.

Regardless, there are many ways in a commercial deal to take a holding and the two are not linked.

Fundings take place in all companies, hopefully a deal with BioNTech will take us back to double figures and a funding if necessary can be done at a much higher price. I would take a 15% drop in SP to see the back of CF, at least they wont be selling into any rise again and just maybe the BOD foresee by RNS news there will be many such news items to rise without them holding us back.

The SCIB1 Trial is funded initially, the SCIB2 Trial is fully funded, and I believe we will here the MOD1 trial is funded too. Not bad for accompany with a M/Cap so low, and just how quick those shares were snapped up.

So not sure what you are saying really the MOD1 news was very good, and IMHO we could well rise above the SP Before the sell last week next week. Try not to make bad news out of good news, keep the faith and see how this unravels the potential for further good news is enormous IMHO, and the CF situation was not Scancell fault.

Crumbs, glad you posted that, indeed it was back in 2013 from the Investors Day that the potential targets were identified. Amazing to see how much time it has taken to get this to this stage. I do feel we could have got more updates on our progress during that time, but one thing the BOD can never be accused of is ramping the share up to the dismay of many shareholders. That is why I believe Fridays RNS was even more significant, perhaps now the BOD are fully prepared to put their names to announcements as we draw closer to the trial we have dreamt of for so long.

Refreshing to read the Rt Hon Chesters post about how prudent the BOD have been with funding, easy to forget with the financial and human resources available to us how much progress has been made. The recent appointments and the Advisory Board named on Friday signal to me that funding is not the serious issue some state, without forgetting how important it is. It feels as if the cloak of silence is being lifted now and ethically the BOD must have gained huge respect amongst the industry, to be taken seriously now we have arrived at this stage. I wonder how many of us who have shared these pages during that time feel now??

There has been plenty f discussion over City Financials holding, which is no fault of Scancell, but far less talk about the buying we have seen (including the 6m trade) which seems to have been snapped up in just a few days. Knowlesi posted how Garraway must have felt we are too risky to hold, but again no mention of how many including that 6m and another couple of 1m buys must feel we are well worth the risk. So the only difference between Knowlesi and many of us is not how we end up, but how the journey will map out, with Knowlesi feeling a bucket shop placing is a certainty and anybody else is a ramper. Hardly worth arguing about really, just two different opinions, time will tell and I don"t think that time will be anything but sooner rather than later.

I would appeal to Knowlesi just to ease up on the accusations (as I believe we both have to one another) just two different opinions. Rather than the constant references to ramping how about listening to how many top scientists support us and referring even to Lindys recent award in Sweden perhaps.

So we have all been shocked by the share price decline, even CH made reference to the AIM market at the recent Pro active presentation. It is not just us that have suffered a decline in value in this market, we are a high risk investment in a market that values failure over potential. Well it wasn't like that when we reached 64p, and please G-d we all live to see the AIM market at its best, with strong data from trials and cash in hand. That time is getting closer IMHO, enjoy the ride, and like IMM enjoy the journey, but lets hope the ending is happier. Goodnight all and best of luck.

Evening guys, been reading that RNS and researching the Clinical Advisory Board for MOD1. The more I read the more I like. Perhaps somebody with more experience than me would like to comment on this further, particularly this part of the RNS.

The attention to detail over our ambitions for Moditope screams out, as do our plans to take Moditope through Clinical Trials. Does this announcement, appointment of such clinical experts reflect an AIM company with a M/Cap of just £15m??? I continue to get the feeling that funding for Moditope is in place in exchange for at least a healthy percentage of our value, and that being the case under the direction of the Party involved every detail is being orchestrated to ensure the maximum success that we could achieve.

What awesome expertise to bring into the company, the same company who has been so savagely criticised for the BODs incompetence?? I have always felt the serendipity discovery of Moditope, with the years of clinical development needed was something many of us overlooked, just for thinking it might have been achieved quicker. Well as we stand it has taken six years to get to this stage, toxicity testing in preporation for our first MOD1 trial starting in early 2020. Glad to be back believe me, (was I ever away?). It was weird, I woke up at exactly 2.30 on Wednesday afternoon with my screen showing -13.3%. Ruching to the RNSs I couldn"t find one, and just watched in the following 10 mins, helplessly as most of did as the share crashed even further. I think we were down 27% at the height.

Really appreciated the posts by LTH and traders explaining what was happening and yet again a great example of how the most experienced traders have seen this all before, I haven"t. Was so tempted to buy another 60k, but was pretty pre occupied packing by hospital case, but delighted how we have come back from new lows with so many buys and big volumes (for us), much more to come. There was a good post from marineville just saying how annoying it is to see new holders buying so low, I know what he meant, but like him I am sure welcome all to this BB, and in a few years they will be RT Hon Members too!!!!

Yep, I feel excited at what could come from here and genuinely (despite the odds being against us) do not believe a placing will follow yet, and that RNS did make me feel funding is something the BOD have focused on for years and we might just have a deal on Moditope to get all pipelines into trial.

We have heard so much about the BODs faults, lets just say in retrospect everything we do would be done differently in hindsight, but CH has repeatedly assured me there is much more fruit to come from BioNTech…….quote...……..and EVERY avenue of funding is being pursued, for some time now, and as Ratty pointed out to Knowlesi they will not convene on Monday suddenly realising they have no funding in place.

So great to be back on board H.M.S. Scancell, we have waited so long for what is happening now, I just feel the timing has never been better to be hopeful. Of course we are down on the week, but better the shresw have gone and we shall not have to endure them selling into any rise any more, and I do believe next week we are set to go much higher...………….with further good news driving it.

Can never rule out a funding and those of us accused of wearing rose tinted spectacles know that, but a compelling case IMHO for incoming funds and possibly a further funding in double figures is taking shape in a very realistic way IMHO.

Well it was some experience, one I had turned down in January because the risk was so high, I accepted to have it done two weeks ago simply because if I didn"t I wouldn"t be here.

They didn"t use micro ablation, but cryo ablation, rarely used in the U.K. but commonly in U.S.A, they believe like I do certain risks are lowered. Trouble was they couldn"t use GA as my heart wouldn"t have recovered so it was done with Local. The 15% risk was born out of my general health, a heart ejection fraction of just 30%, and huge abnormalities in lungs, to name a few, mostly due to scarring and damaged tissue lining from previous tumours and and radiation, hmmm, and of course smoking which I don"t mention!!!

I was terrified for days, wheeled in and saw the table was surrounded with heart recovery machines and lung collapse doctors. I had to lay in the scanner for nearly four hours motionless as they inserted 3 needles into my skin after local, and just for a second saw them enter the lung, The pain was not from invasive entry to lung but from entry into two pain barriers in the skin.

To cut a long story short each needle gave 15 mins of cryo treatment, not painful. Some might find this interesting but I told you guys I was a certified hypnotherapist back in the States for a few years. If I hadn2t of placed myself on my favourite beach in Goa, whilst remaining with the constant urgings from the team I believe I wouldn"t have got through the pain levels or numbness in my body.

That was it, a series of CT scans and xrays to ensure no air leakes, hence discharged, and home within 24 hours. An awesome treatment worth a bit of research guys, and the UCLH team from porters to nurses to surgeons were faultless a big 12/10.

So back in a month to see how successful, the lung is just one big bruise and blood clots everywhere now, and in three months we will see if any cancer cells have started to reform.

You are right I feel exhausted, will do for a few weeks, was just excited at seeing the RNS and the subsequent rise. Maybe that ushers in better days for us all, and again I want to thank everyone for your good wishes, boy that helped me fight. Maybe now is the time to hypnotise those MMs, lol. Knowlesi, did I not read a couple of posts yesterday confirming the Admimistrators of CF had sold all CFs AIM holdings? Pretty sure I did. That would dispel your thoughts that they they didn"t feel Scancell was worth the risk??

Could be wrong, (it has been so long since we have had such a rise) but we held that rise really well, considering the fightback from the low on Tuesday and a typical Friday afternoon profit take.

Seems to me (and I"ve been told I am wrong several times) that RNS was held a few days till after City sold out, to give us momentum in climbing back up.

If that is the case I wonder what Monday will bring?? A Holdings RNS for sure, BUT I think we will get some more good news, to further fuel our rise. Could be SCIB 1 Trial news, U.S.. IND....or something from the left field.

Only really two possibilities...........I get a strong feeling from the RNS today that the BOD by moving onto MOD1 news have funding secured, or as some feel a funding is coming? IMHO I just cannot see a funding for sure at this stage MO...........but with news of SCIB1 trial, MOD1, IND etc, I think we can get back to double figures.
