TF, pleasure to rec your post, I agree as you know. It has been 7 years now since I had to give up my business lifein Debt Recovery and Insolvency, I employed many solicitors and Insolvency Practitioners apart from telephone canvassers and front line closers. I cant think ofr a single senior member of staff who did not want to know what human resources were available to them or as y4ou would expect the solvency of my own companies.

Again, I don"t think it is a major issue to debate all day, just makes no sense that a top scientist having spent 11 years at Immunacore would not have job security at the top of her list. The product line must impress her too and can"t wait to see news that directly has come from her input.

Might be a real game changer if the compounds are proven to work by data showing extension of life. The only thing the BOD do with sentiment is around the time they need to raise money IMHO

Well Knowlesi, other than a couple of years of my life I always worked for myself, but I still find that hard to believe. We agree to differ on a point which is hightly speculative at best and one which i doubt too many give any credence too.

Yes, I think I am recovering well, was just pleased to come through the op TBH, but resting now as I should and feel no pain or discomfort at all. Will find out on June 7th how succesful they were after CTScans, but my pain thresholds have reached a new high after that op, and I cant help reminding myself that the tumour must have had a really bad day, regardless. I have always believed in treatments as an extension to life, not a cure, so feel comfortable with that. GL here again.

harley, yep you and many others sadly. Was pleased to hear that Cars has got his average down to 11p, mine is 14.8p whih is considerably better than the 41p that I entered at, but still my P/F shows a loss about 68%, so yep a good time IMHO for you, simply because we have a very promising news flow to come, and I only just about understand how we were once valued at 64p and now years later with tremendous data and progress on all pipelines we sit at 4p. Funding I guess should never be underestimated.

Do you really believe that after eleven years at Immunacore, Samantha wasn"t bothered to find out her budget or any idea of future funding for Scancell to take her work into clinical trials?? I find that a bit unbelievable to say the . I only posted that link to remind us of her appointment, her previous eperience and was genuinly surprised we now have 19 employees. Chiplin has taken a fair bit of stick, which I still think is very unfair. He came in at a time when we were still reeling from the deal that never happened, formulated a new stratagy, and said we would be exanding our workforce and senior appointments. Well he has done that, it is just we were a bit unrealistic to the timelines it needed to arrive even where we are now, something I have noticed particularly over on VAL where they find themselves where they are.

Where we differ, as is obviously the case with Samantha is would Scancell increase their overheads ( and take pay rises) without knowing at least where the finance culd come from to take the pipelines past clinical development into trials. Of course we will raise funding at some stage, every company does, but on favourable terms, not where we are no, Just MO, time will tell.

Taverham, do you really think that? They say the average time for a Biotech from clinical development to commercialisation is about ten years

Not sure if that applies mostly to companies who have much better human resources and indeed budgets, but they say ""on average"" so presume that counts through the industry.

Do you really think in that time VAL have managed to get that close?? There has always been a dispute here as to how close to commercialisation VAL are, my opinion is they are still years away from that and dependant on a pretty large sum of money in just one pipeline to achieve that.Then there is the question of how much demand there is from a bigger Pharma to add these treatments to their pipelines at a time when there are some major achievements in the Oncology market in extending lives with as few side effects are possible.

My interest in this share as many biotechs is from the point of view of a patients perspective and whilst knowing thatreceiving treatments are not a given, the majority of cancers from some 730 known cancers are untreatable, but this one IMHO hardly has enough positive data (yet) to convince me, or it would seem to the wider world of Oncology. I would be very annoyed at how much of the financial resources have indeed been spent on clinical development and trials compared to the hefty salaries and overheads that have caused losses as high as 99%, with no seeming to end to that spiral.

I think Dracula has been invested here for some time, believed in the company and is entitled to his opinion on that.

Respect just a bit more what you are doing, whether it works or doesn"t. Been impressed by many posts. especially Russel Cox 16.59 (I think), and yours and Freddieboy. Responsible posting, and there are no issues with supporting a share as many of you have if you feel positive enough to invest you"re hard earned.

Must be the hardest thing to do(taking a loss), I have never been a fan of that saying it is only a loss if you sell however, it can be true)..

I think we have all learned about falling in love with a share, regardless of what share it is, Only thing I would say Val Ju is you refer to some with different opinions still as trolls? Why? They have called this right, and I have learnt to listen to those with differing opinions (as long as they are not rude). No need to remove or filter them there are differing opinions around us for everything.

With so much humility being expressed, (my sincerity was questioned by Uncanny) I only wish more that those who still have some type of holding here get a bounce on some tangible good news.

I have been as guilty as some here for the very same things I am saying, but in all honestly those I speak to I automatically adopt a negative view, there is little to be learnt from ignoring what could go wrong, or what is perceived as good news, as I am sure you guys have learnt. Still find it fascinating how one person can peddle mis information as if it were a fact, whats the point. So hoping with adversity we all attain more knowledge and become better investors from it,, whether it be a positive or negative view only those posts which are backed up with fact matter, or alternatively those that state clearly they are in (IMHO only).

So have a good weekend, look forward to finding that one share that one share that changes our lives for the better and in Biotechs the ones that favour future outcomes for patients, that is what really matters IMHO. Take care.

Gla that thread about Samantha Paston provoked some good posts, it really did make me thing again why she should join us and as crumbs said a year into clinical development bodes well for eventual outcomes.

Just a word on the shelf life of Moditope.............Well we brought in Adrian (was it?) as Head of Manufacturing and what i liked was our ability to manufacture smaller amounts as and when we need replenishing at a fraction of the cost previously available to us. That in itself is a blessing and reduction in manufacturing costs, typical I think of the fiscal mindset of our BOD.

All in all a decent week, I think the volume at first site was about just 190k, 170k being buys, leaving plenty of room IMHO for newbies to join u at a decent opening level, it is newbies that we need so much, and they are all welcome for the journey ahead.

Have a good weekend all, a week closer to something, and a week closer to the convention in Philadelphia, which just gives me a good feeling being amongst ISA, Ichor, BioNTech and Genentech and really anybody else. Some nice buying this morning, and level 2 and H/L were interesting all day, whilst lazing in the sun, just enjoying the fresh air and good company.

Volume was 1.156m...........buys 936k and sells 220k, presuming Icalled the later 119,999 and 250k correct. It must have taken up the slack from this week and aboutthe only call i got right this week,lol, was i was hoping to see a bounce as we approached 4p. Someone must have thought so too, nice buying between 8.13 and 8.31 this morning.

Would be nice to see that replicated tomorrow, with a rising bid too, and good to see trades posted and not delayed. Heres to finishing the week on a high, and yes have been surprised at how few shares have been sold from last week. Perhaps I am not the only one to think a good news flow is coming. Goodnight guys
