I was really surprised more than anything else to see those posts (originating from ADVFN!!) stating it is very hard to see what JC has done for us, and that it would be better if CH replaced him as chairman? I was to be honest astounded by them, and unfortunately I only saw them as that morning someone asked me had I seen certain posts from the weekend before, and I should do. So I did, and I shan"t discuss what I thought of them!! Typically it led to a few ugly exchanges, I was more fired up by the posts last week than an opinion. So whilst it is very quiet, on a Saturday afternoon, I just wanted to apologise for the few posts that followed. I hope many of you know how much i have done what I can to avoid those moments, the BB shouldn"t have to hear the personals, we have seen so many over the years, and I know how I feel reading someone elses personals on the BB. It gets boring, and hardly helps in wanting others to share there thoughts. So I have put the filter back on and added one other, and not for any reason will I remove them. Again apologies for that and it is even more the case being we have quite a few newbies, and all they want I expect like me is to discuss the here and now, and understand better this share, which can be a bit daunting at times. To them I would say, it isn"t that daunting, the RNSs and PDFs say a lot as do many very good posters on here. Surely it is much like the oilies, minerals shares etc we occasionally play on, are we all experts in that field? I rather doubt it.
What annoyed me about those posts was simply we know nothing about the work they do, what they are negotiating on, or how long negotiations have been taking place until we get an RNS telling us something has happened. We all saw that after RG stepped down amid much criticism and soon after we got a series of RNSs about what he had contributed, and I guess a few of us felt the crescendo of disharmony was just a little over the top and not worthy of the man.
I felt that with the posts about JC, CH especially because we do know what has changed, we kinda know the direction we are moving in, and for it all the Vulpes situation, which does cause differing opinions is I believe a great step forward, particularly for how it can effect our future and add the expertise to the BOD which has in the past been so savagely questioned by many posters. So taking that into account and quite a few other things I just couldn"t understand whilst we await news about the trial starting and many other issues, why are we making that an issue again now? I know what I think, and perhaps I am wrong but personal stuff does get distorted, I accept that and just want to say it won"t anymore. Nobody needs it, especially now, in a time when I feel we are moving ever forward and the direction and stratagy put into place by JC is reaching some tangible conclusions. Good posts from Ray and Dalestar and what i thought was a particularly good post from Rats, which i will repost.
