Violindog, a shame, it rather sounded tht way since your first post on the matter.
I can"t make any comment regarding the PPE, we hear so many different stories, but as a human being just being in that enviremont must be heartbreaking. I just wonder whether you would feel the same even with better protective wear.
However grateful I am to the NHS over a 7 year period where I was in ITU and wards, as an out patient every week, the biggest battle I was facing was not so much the illness but a deep frutration as to the coordination between management, consultants and nurses, being told I missed an appointment I hd never been told about, or having an appointment and finding out when I got there, which is another story, that it had been cancelled.
I sense that is a situation you are only too aware of, but very few people could work doing what you do, so I just wish you luck whatever you choose to do next. x
