Morning All11 Jun 2020 05:15
Well it doesn"t appear I will get any sleep tonight, my mind is racing as it hasn"t done for some considerable time with our share Scancell Holdings.
I have certainly spent a period some weeks ago feeling very negative about the share, largely disappointment at losing all the ground we had made pre COVID19 and after enjoying 4 succesful trades, bringing in about £2k, my last trade I sold at 8.525 having bought at only 7.35 £1500s worth which turned out pretty much the high but sold as I felt it was slowing down and decided to buy back in around 7p. It didn"t take too long be patient to reach 7.10 where I bought, although it wasnt a confidant buy and sold at 6.40 my first lost trading Scancell this year at the 5th attempt. I could like many others just see it falling more, in the past I probably would have held, but seeing somebody sell at 5.35 last week felt I got out at a good time.
Yeah, I was really disappointed with the fall back, and no sign of a back up RNS and posted my feeling here about it, which when negative I am loathed to do. Even around 5.60 I wasn"t tempted back as I have maybe 90k out of my 220k in the mid to late 7s and felt I would play with those in the unlikely event of reaching 11p or more where I might have traded a few,
Was delighted to hear we would be reappearing on sky news yesterday, with the Gavi Virtual Conference on June 4th on my mind too, amid a growing feeling some positive news might be on its way. I didn"t get a trading tranche, something like 25k shares for £1500 which made sense to me, I guess I just wanted a break from a pretty good run which I said a the time, but writing this now it is one of those I would rather be in than out tonight. I was angered as it goes by Innivio, Moderna, even VAL and Sareum who had all raised on the back of COVID19 and just felt the whole exercise had been cheapened by such actions, but importantly whils Scancell entered the fray on April 24th, we are just one of those companies who have not effected a raise on the back of it yet. It just seemed to give credence to our efforts and if it is the case we are in talks and we represent three parties, then 7 weeks is not a lot of time to agree a Heads of Agreement IMHO at all.
So well done all those who bought sub 6p, seeing 120k sold late yesterday at the top of the bid 5.70 pleased me just to balance the books at a premium, and it is ard not to notice with volumes going down the rush to sell has slowed right down and perhaps now we can rise back into the6s, with news not so far off..
So good luck today everyone, got a feeling we shall see the volume rise again, and lets hope if we are on SkyNews again we seize the opportunity better than I thought we did the first time round. So fingers crossed for a good day, volumes back over a 1m, and sells continue to flatten out. For all the talk of a seller which brought us down to mid 5s with a thump we also have a buyer who has picking up shares steadily too.
