Morning C7,
Keep that PMA going as I'm sure that has been a major factor over many years, you can do it buddy.
Just out of interest, do you research any possible new treatments for your condition(s)?

Well....where do I start?? Last Monday a week ago I requested a telephone appointment to get my results as I simply find it too much to get to the UCLH. I was told by the Registrar it all looked clear from the CT Scan but as normal they would send it to radiology and the surgeon. I was stunned as it was the first time I would have been clear for over 12 months, but I have never felt so ill for 8 years, so whilst being thrilled I knew my other conditions had got a lot worse, hence the label "terminal" attached to them. That being heart failure, cardio myopathy, 1 functioning lung, COPD, Emphesiama, Barrats Oesphogus and just keep rolling!!! On Tusday night I was told it was far from clear, the size of the tumour hadn"t changed, but the density of the area and scar tissue has doubled, leaving them as four times before to summise another tumour is present, which is consistant to how I feel and explains a very dry cough I have had before.
To the credit of the NHS the very next day they offered me a Pet Scan appointment for this morning, and being too early I am going on Wednesday 12th August 3.30 just in time to find out how many extra shares I get, lol!!!
So in answer to your question, no I have never looked elsewhere, I believe I am with the best I can be as my first prognosis 6 months suggest. I cannot have surgery of any kind, or chemotherapy as too weak, which leves radiation, cannot have more, and cryoblation which I had last year, which i won"t have again. I couldn"t have any anaesphetic as they got three canisters into my lung in an op lasting 4 hours 15 minute.. Fortunately after breaching my last layer of skin internally I put myself under hypnosis!!!
So that buddy is how it is, if you have any questions just mail me, and sorry guys there a few people here who I am answering this way, save for 6 different replies. Pretty sure it will be positive, they are too, think we have used up treatments now even the cryoblation was refused at first as there was a 20% chance of not making it, so will let you know maybe the end of next week where the land lies.
My heart is firmly in Naples.FL. ATB buddy.
