RE: Race for Market Share16 Nov 2020 15:22
Trebor not so sure about that, but as I say we should here a lot more from CH tomorrow about where we differ from just treating this particular virus. Some say Lindy should have explained that better in Part One, but I still maintain it was recorded before the Pfizer news was released on the same day.
I think it is a certainty that there will be many approvals, then combination trials, we still don"t know for the 10% it didn"t work fork for how that group was made up. Governments seem to be back tracking against a wave of expectation which could well be unfounded, it was a news release, not peer reviewed and played havoc with the markets, what a dangerous precedent particularly when safety and efficacy has very limited data.
""currently it looks like our consortium are about a month behind the competition.""
Do you really thimk that Redmiles investment of some £40 odd million came without any knowledge of data coming from the First Generation vaccines?? I don"t buy that at all........nor do I think COVIDITY was the be all and end of the deal, that is not to say the idea of memory induced T-Cells will give more lasting protection considering the anti bodies we produce have a very short life span, with some needing two doses up to 4 times a year for each person. I just cannot see how that will work even in this country, let alone the huge populations in countries around the world who have little resources and logistical problems anyway. ATB
