Morning Rats, yeah good point, I was asking that question a couple of times in the past two weeks, that with the vaccines available now it should open the doors to a return to trials under whatever conditions that apply, and I would have thought that would have played a part in their planning.

Thanks, I find it hard to imagine that Redmile did not take into account timelines to initiate again the SCIB1 trial and a trial date for MOD1. With such uncertainty surrounding that I would love to know what they budgeted for and on what basis.

Yep there are a few unknowns with the vaccines, only time will tell, but from being cynical I am desperate to have my shot and just get a life back.

As far as here goes, just chilling, got the shares I wanted 260k average a bit up at 13.3p and when I consider where we went to, Redmiles, Vulpes and CHs buying prices, I feel we will return to 18p+ in good time. Mystified why one poster should share his same view every day (?), either we are in, want to build, average down or buy in the SP now is somewhat lower than 18p.
Sentiment will return at some stage with news, I can wait another year..............at least, and grateful for that.

Evening fella, tell you the truth I havent been following anything to do with Brexit or TBH daily news on the coronavirus. It just gets to the point that there is too much gloom around. I wouldn"t mind if we had just news channels but these days is it so politically presented, it is hard enough just getting through the myriads that confront us daily.

Was interested to hear your views on the new vaccines. ATB

Evening LL, I would have thought many fall into that catagory at this time in particular and taking into account the last year too. However, Redmiles investment, our recent recruitment stratagy and recent rise to 18p have given me a lot of confidence for the future here, and we know how quickly sentiment can change.

My first impressions of a vaccine for the virus were a bit cynical, but I have changed my stance on that, on a personal level I have been under lockdown for 10 weeks now, and it offers me the opportunity to have more freedom and live a life again, the rules for exxtremely vulnerable people are very draconian compared to the advice Government give in different tiers, and as for Scancell I would have thought that patients who are vaccinated offers a chance to resume trials in the near future. Does anybody know any further news on that particular item??

Maybe Hasiba can tell us how far he has got, but looking at the valuation of the IP speaks volumes, and it has been valued higher in the past when we were limited to how far we could take each platform.

Funny enough I think we have a fair chance of hearing progress news on Covidity, and how much UK Government can grant us to complete a Phase 1 trial. That should give us a clue to the chances of any commercial success. Best of luck.

Would love to top up, but just after buying 60k in OO, AT 10.80 and 13.70, and with Xmas amongst us, not the greatest time for me to do so.

Interesting thought the M/Cap is some £88m, we have around £47m cash in hand, which leaves the IP valued at just about £40m. I can think of worser times to have topped up!

Thanks for the links you provide, I find them all interesting, but sadly I am falling behind in what they are discovering.

My focus is on getting a vaccine shot, which shouldn"t be too long now, Tiers 1/2/3 mean little to folks like me, we just cannot take any risks however tiny. I can only admire those of you with responsibiliteies to families, your businesses/jobs and providing this year, it must be a nightmare year for you all. Mine seems easier just staying in, seeing no friends at all, but believe me that is very hard too, so looking forward very much to the New Year, new possibilities and better outcomes for us all.

FWIW the vaccine side is a battle which I feel has a long way to run, 2nd generation vaccines will soon displace the 1st and so on, then we will have IMHO combination trials too, bt the knowledge that we could be provided with a lot more that makes us safer is too good to miss, lets hope it works TCOY

So against my better judgement at the 8th attempt of trying to get me to acknowledge you, I asked a question, one which everyone can decide on, not looking for a nit picky thread, just a question. If you feel it is reflective of the market in general then say so, I will not undergo interrogation for every word I clearly make as you seem to need to do with everything I post, like accusing me of having inside information 6 times for having an opinion.

I am sure sentiment will return here as timelines for trials can be sorted, one thing is for sure we have ""removed the elephant in the room"" and as we did so other issues were debated. Hasiba is a poster I have long admired from the MTFB BB, and has said and is building a holding about 1% of shares in issue, some 9m. My own calculations leave another 7.5/8m to build. It is no different to what GF123 said when he started building a few years ago, and I just hope the rudeness to him is never repeated again. A very decent man who I occasionally talk to, and he declared to me (and this BB) every buy he was going to make before the event, so what was the cause of the mistrust??

Yes sentiment has taken share chats down significantly, but I know many will not post as things are, and that largely includes me. When agendas stop and opinions can be given without being nit picked some will return, I look forward to that very much.

I am proud of my 260k holding, it might mean what 4m means to another person but as Ruck and many I speak to here say i desperately want to see our treatments saving lives, the SP will follow, and that is how it is for me. I even built my holding knowing I wouldn"t see the outcome, so just very grateful for that, and things seem to changing again, and my shares will be left to Researching Lung Cancer, a lot of my time is, it needs to be, and not getting involved in nonsense arguments as exists and has for far too long.

Apart from nit picking (which I have zero interest in) which in this case will only lead to personal abuse, as you say the volumes moving this SP are very small.

As WTP was saying we need news, well that is a conversation we have had for 10 years now, we will get news when news is ready, and personally I am sure with just a little, maybe more, our journey back to 18p will start again. For now, finding it hard to get a timeline on this vaccine, I hear regularly from the Government as I am boxed in as Terminal, extremely high risk, vulnerable, but no sign from my GP that vaccines are available yet. Due to that I have been advised to stay home, which i have done for 11 weeks now, and feeling the effects of that believe me.

I have no reason to defend posting what I did, the purpose of the other post, as ever, was to reassure people it was not worth buying until news...................well everything else was irrelevant, and I strongly disagree with the comment made.

Well in the markets they see opportunity for bargains too, the Redmile investment can be seen as that, and yes while TRADERS get impatient, serious investors don"t.

Well each day we are creeping towards the New Year, and I thing we can all say is that can"t come sooner. Just one goal from me is to make sure I am the best I can be when the curtains open.
