Some interesting trades today and chunky too.

Morning directing, well they have ordered 100m doses of the Oxford vaccine, but not sure about delivery timelines. Certainly from the GPs perspective much more user friendly than the Pfizer one, and so far we have dosed three times what the whole of Europe have. So, reasons to be positive IMHO, and I sure am taking it as such. ATB

There"s GFs 143k and the earlier 100k sell, followed by 2 decent buys (and we are down 1.79%) !!

MMs taking 100k at 13.51, down from 150k at 13.55, so presumably a sell around the time of GFs Buy to come too.

And on to the first trading day of the New Year. That seemed a mightily long holiday on top of what was an even mightier long holiday already, Brexit done with, and all the attention now on beating this virus. Who would ever have thought we would of had the year we did, and for now we are still in it"s icy grip.

Lets hope progress is being made with COVIDITY, and we too should share the fortune of Biontech in the battle against it.

Given the £2.7m we received from UK Government to assist Covidity in development and taking into account what we have learnt since then, I cannot see how what we are doing is any less important as it was then. and Medical hopes that we shall see potential cures for many chronic diseases makes us IMHO a very strong buy.

Hoping the firt news to come from this New Year will be about Covidity. raises my hopes even further for a quick rturn to the highs we saw last year.

Does anyone think I am simplifying this too much or more importantly missing something, I struggle to work out what that might be.

I trust too cancer patients who are desperate for trials are among the first groups to receive the injection, does that not in itself raise our hopes for a return to trials more in keeping with the timelines we are given?? I sincerely hope so. I m entering this year with the most shares I have ever held and FWIW the last thing on my mind is selling a single share given what I highlight and can see happening around us.

I am so delighted with the shares I hold and the gunpowder in reserve after such a struggle to get to here this is indeed a Pivotal Year for me, re doing my home completely now and just excited to have a castle of my own again in the image I always wanted.

I hope for all of us, similar dreams can be realised this year, and away from all the Platforms we now have and Covidity aside the biggest thrill I will get is seeing our cancer patients dosed, and I just get that feeling that Covidity could make that a reality ASAP. When I look at how Biontech have grown despite no products approved the virus has certainly worked in their favour and just praying it does the same for us. GL All.

I agree with many of the points made in that article and the importance of the 2nd Generation vaccines

Which is why I think we will bounce back very shortly from that poor end of year few trading days

As I have said I understand why Biontech fell 25.7% one day last week, after fears of delays in manufacruring AND THE delays this will cause to the programme of 2nd jabs, I do not understand the same fall in Scancell in the same period

Anyway, good to see you posting here again after some time, I hope you are rebuilding your holding again. So welcome back and heres hoping for a great year ahead.

Enjoyed your posts hariba and agree with you on a few points there. I have been researching hard the last few days, getting me up to speed with the Governments stratagy, and am expecting changes as and when they arise.

The only thing I am not quite understanding is as fast as this virus mutates the producers insist there will be no change to the efficacy we shall see. Just seems quite a claim to make as they study what it has mutated too.

Once again I sincerely hope the vaccines are as succesful as much as they can be, as in everything we learnt from cancer treatments there will always be room for new treatments, but my excitement is based on the findings, the possibilities of offering cures and protection to many serious conditions and the general acceptance now that vaccines can do the job.

I am trusting for all those reasons that we have a strong week as the market digests so much new information, I would have thought if anything what we are producing has even more importance now and with that original £2.7m support from the Government we must be firmly on the list of 2nd generation vaccines to support further.

Yes an exciting time and lets kick off 2021 with a quick return to 15p for starters.

None more so than here, I guess we have all appreciated sitting back and taking stock of our lives.

I must say I have changed a few opinions I have held, and am looking forward to us discussing much that is going on, particularly as to where we are now standing in the race to beat COVID, as I said I am just a bit surprised given what we do now, at how we finished 2020, ans was really interested in the thoughts of many here when the market reopens.

The first doses of the Oxford/Astra Zenaca vaccine have been delivered to a S.London Hospital for rollout on Monday.

Lets hope this vaccine shows stellar results, I was really hoping for any views or opinions on my post yesterday about the logistics of the Biontech vaccine, it just didn"t seem to make sense to me.

Time now seems to be moving slowly into 2021, I had maybe some unrealistic hopes for this coming year, and I have to remind myself it is only the 2nd day into the New Year.

Given what we are learning about the first generation vaccines, and the potential cures that could come from the 2nd generation ones does anyone understand our fall in SP last week?

There are some high hopes for these vaccines of which we are one and already have Government support by vurtue of the £2.7m funding we received, really hoping for a big news announcement for COVIDITY in the very near future.

It was a standard feeling that in this New Year much progress would be made with what we have, reality is it is far too soon to make those predictions but seeing the figures for the last 4 days, 57.000 infected and 900 deaths shows us what a mammoth job we have coming ahead.

I hope in the meantime the vaccines available protect us as much as they can for now. and would welcome any facts and comments on this very subject. Have a good day all, take extreme came this virus is reflective of how transmissable it has become and the death totals are just another confirmation of how serious the situation is. Comments are very welcome,my insistanve on not getting too involved in media and news is backfiring on me, sometimes we have to hear every angle to help make up our minds.

Well I put off watching any news until very early this morning, after an eight day break, and TBH I am staggered to hear about the vaccine shortage (no wonder Biontech fell by 25.67%, the other day). Sanity was partially restored by an interview with a lady GP and writer for the BMJ who was explaining they had a delivery of 1200 shots which because of temperature controls had to be used to treat 900 odd elderly and most vulnerable patients in one day!! After the injections each patient was given a 2nd appointment for the 2nd dose some weeks later, which now need cancelling, and we are dealing here with the over 80s who tend not to have phones to read mobile messages to cancel their appointments, so a new delivery is coming this week, new patients, and hundreds of the original patients will turn up also expecting their 2nd jabs only to be told they are cancelled etc, etc.........................Chaos!!!

In the meantime all GPs are desperate for a new vaccine which can be stored in fridges and not limited to 3 day use. I am not by any means happy with GP practices these days, but what they are asked to be doing is nigh on impossible, and dependant on supply I just cannot see who would choose to restock the Pfizer vaccine, the logistics are insane.

I received a message from my GP only yesterday to tell me I am in Group 4, they are currently doing 1 and 2.

So can anyone explain given the situation with first generation vaccines, how much they are relying on 2nd generation vaccines and the potential to cure many diseases, why we should lose 20% of our M/Cap in 3 days?? The Biontech fall I understand.

That is why as I said before I don"t believe this has anything to do with charts, the charts were the same last week when we rose 50%!!! I really do believe that on Monday we will see a big bounce here as news is digested, and the sad part to me is after watching the news what real hopes do we have of clearing this virus in 2021???

Sorry to be downbeat, but I will certaimly be giving the news (another) wide berth, for the foreseeable future, and I still fail to understand why the abuse to Boris Johnson continues at pace, has nobody told them this is a global situation!!!

And to you violindog. I think it is a make or break year for many.

Tremendous discussion taking place now on the excitement in the Industry as myths about vaccines are being dispelled. Oler people are reacting just as well as younger ones to the vaccine and the possibilities that with more trials happening we are getting closer to finding cures for life taking diseases by use of vaccines.

Could there be a better time for us to be trialling Covidity, let alone SCIB1 and Moditope???

Hi Wild, and a Happy New Year to you buddy. What is this now, our tenth new year here??

I am delighted we are now in a New Year, last year for me was somewhat bewildering at times, as Government guidelines for me set out I don"t think I have left my home more than six times all year, certainly not for the last 3 months, but I sat in my lounge last night feeling so positive and content. I guess last year for me was a huge equaliser, we all had big issues to deal with, and it felt a bit like the world had halted allowing me to catch up a bit before the curtains open wide again. A really strange feeling but as you say this year will be very interesting on many levels.

A shame the market had to re open after Xmas, and many have posted their thoughts and reasons for the fall, I just think it was a mixture of panic sells, taking profits from 10/11p and I do wonder how many people this year have fallen into a cash flow trap, particularly after the Xmas period.

That being the case, if it is, expecting a good bounce back this coming few weeks.

To sum up, like many I started this year some 70% down, and finished the year some £1200 up after 10 years and buying in initially at 41p. I feel rather grateful for that alone, and my hopes this year are as high as many here.

So I hope you guys had a peaceful evening last night, lets carry our dreams into this year and hope with all our hearts that these vaccines treating us now will at least vastly improve our hopes for a better year. HNY All.

Well he called it right, and as we move into 2021, our prospects seem exciting and looking back, haven"t we come a long way??
