Agree Pianista. A positive RNS. Might not have an immediate impact on the SP but then layer on news re new depots when it comes, March update and potentially unexpected news and it’s all forward momentum through the coming weeks. GLA.

Ports - guess we’ll find out in a few hours! I wonder if we will hear about one of the new depots already in the pipeline, ahead of the March update. Not impossible.

Ruck - I saw the BBC Look East coverage you mention. Not sure what your view was but I was far from impressed by the guy doing the talking and the background looked like some kind of pop-up office with a jumble of 2nd hand equipment on view! Maybe I’m being unfair but if that had been a view of Scancell to millions of people, I’d have been horrified!

Now I’m starting to really wonder whether I should continue to place faith in the multi-million pounds investment from reputable industry recognised players (cash that does exist and is in the Bank), or the numbers you just plucked out of thin air and wrote down on the back of a fag packet FTSEBUYER. Just saying!

The most encouraging part,,,,,,,,,,, Plans to expand the network with a further three sites over the second half of the financial year are well under way, reflecting management confidence and new business opportunities.
2nd half of the financial year, is the next 6 months!

Big thanks to Miavoce for helping us all to understand the context of the tweet. With that firmly in mind though, would Prof Bates have sent it if there wasn’t a good level of confidence behind the words? I am not suggesting news is imminent, simply wondering what was in his mind, when sending the tweet. I find it hard to believe he would risk an attack on his integrity by putting something out on Twitter on a whim, that had little or no chance of happening based on facts at hand at that time.

Fully agree Mik and with 2020 Preliminary Results likely to arrive in March (based on last year), there is lots to look forward to just around the corner. Given the recent positive Trading Update, I expect those results to be SP dynamite and this will be 80p+ all day long.

Of course “rapidly” is open to individual interpretation eg. like billy-o, greased lightning, bat out of hell, scalded cat, like the clappers etc. etc. Or alternatively could be a more moderate version of rapid :-)

We would all like positive news of course but arguably, a relatively short period without (and it is a relatively short period) is far better than news with little materiality, which we see pumped out by others. I liken it to the office meeting where you can place large bets on certain attendees speaking, simply because they just want to be heard but only offer up drivel! News will come.

Kash - wouldn’t think that new news is based on desperate hope. Do you think that Vulpes & Redmile made their investments in desperation? I don’t. Is the SP tumbling? No. Do agree with you that patience is required but also perspective based on all facts known to us thus far.

Also, another angle on SP performance. In the lead up to Christmas, there was quite a discussion on here amongst some, about reaching 13p for Christmas and considering that satisfactory heading into the holiday. Just 4-5 weeks on and well above that now, despite no new news.
