Well have been waiting for the 255 trigger to activate for about two months now... With all the noise you can't blame RBS for taking that long... Question is can we see it hold above 255 at the close of market today, if so then we have the Bazooka results day soon so a lot of action for Banks this week.... Good luck investors.

FED Interest rate rise of 0.25% positive for all banks and battered UK banks in particular as this sets the direction for BOE to observe...The Question is can we go for a bit more of a rise maybe testing 255p soon you never know with RBS ....

Yes RBS Yes RBS all over the News headlines today must be the only bit of news other than opec meeting can they not find something on trump today lol... Yes if you look at the RBS share price over the last week it has been tanking, so the BIG boy's all had a bit of insight into the outcome of the results.. RBS is in a better shape now than same point a year or two back the only thing that has changed is the BOE criteria has got a lot tougher, so now the banks have to be strong enough to withstand adverse conditions like all of 2008 financial crisis the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression and Prisoners absconding,Bus drivers sleeping on the job,child abuse, footballers getting balls kicked privately by pervy mangers, VW scandal,Modi baning 500 and 1000 rupees,Donald Trump bragging in vulgar terms about kissing, groping and trying to do bits and bobs with women and Armageddon giving out free B's on black Friday...My point is this everyone and his dog has kicked this share for any news that is even not related and it is trying so hard why can no one give it a chance.....I bet if it passed the test the share price would of been down anyway llooll some you just can't win I guess ..

Yes in Theory maybe but don't forget RBS was one of the big hitters in the US and US regulator want to resolve all the toxic mortgage-backed securities mortgage miss-selling and also a few outstanding issues in the UK.... RBS has already set aside £7.5bn to cover costs, including PPI compensation, the MBS and interest rate swap mis-selling.Some estimate the bank will have to set aside another £4to6 billion in the coming years. As DOJ fine maybe as high as $14bn... After all the skeletons are out the closet and if it has some pocket money left over then we may see a small Divi and then we maybe on the same level as LLOYDS ...Lloyds has paid out some £17 billion in PPI but pays a small Divi which keeps investors happy....For both banks the share price is what it is for the current conditions but I feel one day both of the banks will do well once they have settled the outstanding fines and of course as and when we get over this BXIT headache...

Banks up in General over BOE meeting But a extra helping for beaten up RBS as the High Court ruled that Theresa May did not have the authority to invoke Article 50 without Parliament's majority vote.and the pound jumps out the box. So strength in sterling helped the bank as the fines they will get from the BOJ are in $$ . And also as RBS has been beaten so much, moves can be amplified Hope this is of some help cliffb1234

When the litigation Cr@p,bxit and this ppi nonsense comes to a end this bank will show the world how the money is made The Government is weak they can not tolerate a big bank like RBS foolish or unacceptable behaviour by our Government has screwed the banks and of course all the banks did misbehave as we all know .

For tomorrow Deutsche Bank down over -7% in the US ...... Even my dog has been calling the RBS and the banking sector right over the last few years that's how much of a joke it's been just listen to him when I ask him a simple question.... Good a bit of positive news for a change from Nationwide and consumer confidence improving should help the bank shears from very very depressed levels

And beaten senseless is this the new normal thing now..... RBS share price is always on the front line for a beating drops the most and at the back of the q for a rise.... Italian banks getting a pasting today this does not look good to me ........

To get to some of last year high's this must be painful for some PI. Have not been on here for some time just don't have as much time on hands anymore.... The UK banking sector has been a joke and to get RBS to go back up 120% we will need a combination of good news otherwise we can kiss goodbye to 420's and even the 390's for maybe 12 to 18 months...Need a settlement on all the litigation issues state side mainly, need a new prime minister, and when we do find someone to be a leader. Then Britain has start the process to leave the European Union, the new Prime Minister will have to invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty for the first time in EU history, thus beginning the formal process of withdrawal. And the two years clock starts at that point....what a mess, will Britain be any better off I don't think so we will still have mass immigration as they are all ready here breading like everyone else, will we still have all the other issues of course we will but the only sad thing is we will be left on our own to shovel the sXit so sad to see David Moron went for the BIG ONE and it spectacularly back fired on him......Can anyone see positive news on the horizon because I can't and by the looks of it any small bounce runs out of steam by the end of the day...Lets see what BOE has to say over the coming weeks....
