This is an exceptionally good CPR and one which both companies correctly say is company making. With Gross 2C of 197.6 bcf and a gross NPV 10 risked value of $396.1m post tax it will rank with many as a massive UK onshore field and as pointed out, there is potentially much more upside from the prospective resource.

A huge resource which is good for both companies and also good for the UK’s bank balance and obviously energy security. The market has unsurprisingly marked both stocks down which is as about as accurate as normal but does reflect that at present investors are as impatient as ever, for the time being only long-term value hunters need apply, unless of course a big company comes along and spots that ten pound notes are available for one pound here…

Why would anyone sell now? Why not last week when it was 50p? No reason whatsoever to hold on and wait for an RNS, that incidentally what a good one with upgrades, wait for it to drop and then think 'oh...I know, UJO has dropped 20% so a really wise move would be to sell'. Totally baffles me I'm afraid. When it was 50p people were so excited for the future....what's changed here? Apart from the share price? Nothing whatsoever.

Yes BB, speaks a lot of sense, hopefully we will get there this year for your sake more than mine, I know your position there! UJO has been a very rocky ride but I have always believed in David Bramhall...I think he's a shrewd business man, he's also had a lot of bad luck the last few of years, but finally everything is falling into place and the Government is realising we need to produce oil here in the UK, thank goodness, so UJO definitely one to have in your portfolio this year :)

Nice to see you here Bigbench, while we await Tally listing!!! UJO are something to smile about, I've been invested here as long as LION, lovely to see it finally taking off, good luck.

The way this board reads you would think 88e are in partnership with PANR, very misleading for new investors, PANR have flowed the oil, 88e are not drilling until 2023.

tedsandbach...I'm with you there, I also have little knowledge of the O&G industry, although I have been invested in PANR for a good few years now, and also UJO. I see Scot as a genuine poster and any knowledge I have gained over the years has come from him. Exciting times here.

It's really not going to look pretty when US opens, I sold SMT a while ago, still at a big loss, but still have BG America in my Sipp currently showing a 21% loss, just hope it ends soon, not even going to bother looking at my portfolio tonight!!

I'm sure plenty of stop losses will have triggered at 130, lots of shares for them to sell now, this will rise nicely now. I learnt the hard way a good while back, never set a SL on an AIM share! Good luck everyone x
