You missed many things:
1. E& took a 10% stake in VOD at 130p so under that price it's always a huge bargain (won't stay long below)
2. E& said what needed to be said which is "debt is cheaper than the dividend"
3. This point 2 might have finally triggered flow into good value high dividend share of VOD
4. There are deals expected from VOD to boost the business
5. Some people have realised inflation might possible be good for VOD as the debt dissipates faster than expected
6. All of the above means VOD is undervalued and should be bought (not sold )
7. Free float has been reduced so there are less sellers.
VOD will be a winner for the year within FTSE 100. Let's see, it is still early days.

Even if bitcoin recovers - Arb will suffer because of high cost of energy. Losing proposition

Ig has a higher percentage of professional traders.
Thus less effected by newbie who traded for one year then left. CMC has more unprofessional traders who don’t know what they doing - this is a different client base, although of course ig also has newbies who don’t know what they doing. Just less of them.
So why ig goes down when cmc results are poor?
Because, in my view, market at times is stupid and acts like a herd of headless chickens. Eventually such things will slowly correct though. For the time being just need to take advantage wren the market is idiotic.

Well it’s clear bitcoin is going to test the old highs of 20k? Wiki bitcoin at $20k hold. I assume it will.
But most other cryptos apart from bitcoin are worthless. Arb maybe go into 20s when bit hits just under $20k.

I just picked up some shares at 680.5p
Wasn’t planned really but at these prices it’s very good value. Yield is now around 6.3%

Previously this was slammed just below 124p two morning in a row. I was thinking that there was a buyer set at just below 124p. Then I thought it might have been a seller- but it’s now looking like MMs dropped it for a buyer. I say the tide has turned for Vodafone. Mikey exit was timed to perfection. Leave when this big ship has turned. Hmm.

Robina - it’s possible vod goes back to 110p…however you are guessing it is NOT a guarantee as you assume. Past is not a proof of future.
Also it may never go back there. It also may go back to 200p but I don’t know the future

People like you are a drag on uk stocks.
This is why the Arabs are buying Vod on the cheap.
It’s so simple. Vod is seriously undervalued.
That is why E& said the debt is cheap, divi means they will be making millions. The conclusion from that is that Vodafone among many undervalued uk stocks are on a discount to real value. Maybe with E& deal this will soon start to sink in. Otherwise the Arabs and the yanks will buy everything off.
