2 days to go. I'm looking for earnings to exceed and an increase in dividend. CEO Nic said they are reviewing capital allocation. If Divi was not increased this it would be next year. I think they will do it now because they can. The last statement on Divi was that it'll be "at least" the same as previous year. This does imply it might be hiked up now rather than later, gla.

Fact that Ocado can't take new customers is not a limiting factor. Mks will replace Waitrose. Are you aware of these basics? The fact that they can't take new customers is not limiting but encouraging because MKS can sell billions of more food next year with Ocado delivering all the can.

It could be market will wake up 2 days before September or when the first results are out. But it's just so obvious that MKS food sales will go through the roof. It's like 1+1=2.
I'm not sure why market finds that difficult. I think it's the backward mentality - contrarians thrive and people do the opposite of what you should do. Oh well they will find out

I don't agree with the "sentiment and nostalgia" bit because MKS is clearly geared up for the future with the Ocado deal.
They got a bargain with the 750m because now the same stake in the current world would cost at least twice the price. The Ocado deal should also help and accelerate MKS cutting unprofitable stores as with online sales the poorer performing stores will be easier to cut - overall sales would still increase - and food sales specifically will increase by a huge amount. My family has used Ocado for years now and MKS food is perfectly fine. We are signed up for Ocado specifically so supplier change is not going to change that. However, we are fans of MKS food as well so from my point of view the deal is perfect. Let's not forget MKS can sell some clothing then on their own site and Ocado as well (limited I suspect). I never been interested in MKS shares but I now I am. They clearly have taken the right path with the Ocado deal.

Yanks were very bullish Friday, FTSE is due a bounce so I am expecting 3% rise on Monday by Ftse.
Vod I don't know, it probably will follow suit because it sitting nicely on 115p support. It will bounce.

My biggest concern was that income was down in Q1.
