Calm down madam(!!), but lets see how your tips do over the coming weeks eh? You may well be different and good luck to you if you are, but I stick by my view about the main subscribers on here. Most give it large about having thousands in here, hundreds of thousands in there, but almost always, its after the event - hindsights a wonderful thing! I'm happy to play with money that I can comfortably afford to lose and I never put more than a couple thousand on a single share. Thats the way this should always be done and to me, its a fun pastime that's far better than just picking a horse - thats it! I don't need to gamble - my mortgage is paid up, employment is rock solid. I have an ample final salary pension scheme and some rich relatives too!!! I've converted most of my shares to cash of late with good profits and my only loss was £150 on Lloyds, so I'm now looking for some new investments. I'm happy to say what I'm in:- I've long term holds in BRR, CFM and CNR (and aside from CNR which I still think has great potential, I think you'll agree I'm not picking too badly with my research am I?!!). Earlier this week I bought in to AFR and ABH which I think will do ok too. As to next week, I have my eye on this share, VLK and a few others, but I'll see on the day. I'm confident I'll be doing well in 2009 and my only concern is what to do with BRR next week which I bought at 2.25 & 2.4p. If you have some views on that, then I'll be happy to read them when I log on next. TT
