Interim results must be due any day now (10th September last year) and with rising titanium prices, Zurich's settlement in April along with an update on the balance of the re-insurers, they should make for good reading I'd imagine? Clearly others think so too and its heartening to see a 2 to 1 buy to sell ratio this morning. All we need is that RNS to confirm things here now and things will start to look a lot more positive.

Bit of activity here this morning. Must be something brewing? Have I missed some news?

Judging by their website, TXR like news issued every month and their next one must be due shortly. Just hoping us long sufferers here will finally get an update on the balance of the reinsurance thats been dragging on now for so long. At least then TXR will be moving in the right direction.

With BSG behind this, these recent ticks up are reinforcing my confidence that I made the right decision to hold here. I see this sector as a good mid to long term market and expect good steady growth here over the next year or two.

No, I see they're acting on behalf of Black Sea Global - oh well!!

There are some seriously undervalued companies in the property sector, so companies like BSGP (with cash on hip) can snap up some bargains at the moment. We all know this sector of the market will come good in time, but so many like Rutley are saddled with debt and it'll be some time before they start to recover. If you hold long term, I think there's no doubt that this will see a healthy rise from the current SP - thats clearly BSGP's view. Someone clearly has confidence given the 2 x 1,390,000 buys just before midday at 7.2p!! Sell to invest elsewhere short term or put them away and forget about them for a bit? Decisions, decisions!!

As can be seen, the directors of Rutley consider the terms of this slightly improved offer to be fair and reasonable and accordingly, intend to recommend unanimously that Rutley Shareholders accept it. I've got to say however that this for me remains a disappointing offer. The trouble is that property remains depressed (albeit that there are some small signs of recovery), but given that it looks as though its got approval from some of the institutional holders here, I reckon it'll go through. A small profit on my original buy and a small loss on the top up that I foolishly made. No doubt others are in a similar position? Oh well ... you win some, you lose some!

The stock was overbought but has settled now, so some of my Afren money is in here. I think we'll see this move up from now. Those results looked impressive on the RNS this morning.

Why is this RNS from last night showing up on the iii Rutley board as news? I know Castellain Capital have an interest here in RTY, but perhaps someone could explain what it has to do wtih Rutley?

As time goes on, this sector of the market will only get stronger as the economy recovers, so any future offer will only reflect that. Black Sea Global really took liberties with their recent offer and I remain convinced like you Bandit.tt that this is a solid investment to hold. I don't have fortunes in here, but I know this will return good in time. There are some big players with holdings here and thats always a positive sign. And as P0wertr4d3r says, there are some odd buying patterns here to confuse holders. Solid hold for me.

People are saying its all down to this ramper on iii, but like you I'm not so sure thats the complete reason behind it. To my mind, much of the increase was prompted by this news about the 1.6 millon institutional buy. Its always a good sign when a current shareholder buys an even larger lump like that as they're more likely to know about the positives coming up here than the rest of us. To me its a good sign that there might be some good news here soon and validates my decision to hold for the time being.

I'll switch off the lights and close the door on the way out then! Just me here by the looks of things, but I suppose I'll have to tuck these away and forget about them for a while longer - still feel that this one is a big profit waiting to happen and its just a matter of when.

I don't hold fortunes in here, but like you, I'm holding on for the AGM too to see what's happening. Its easy to become emotionally involved in some of the shares you select and hold for too long, but I remain convinced that this was a sound investment and that I was right to pick it as a decent medium to long term share. I've been tested though of late and could easily have bailed several times, but I'm still here for the time being!

A few people profit taking right now after the early rise, but today's trading will put TXR on the map now. I remain confident that we'll see a profitable month here once we have the AGM.

I'm hoping that the AGM at the end of the month will give us some positive news about how the business is doing as well as some reference to Zurich's insurance payment last month and its effect on the balance sheet. An update on the other insurers position wouldn't go amiss either and TXR might really start to move. Maybe the institutional buyer knows something?!! Fingers crossed for a good end to the month.
