Mind you, their email to me came through at 2.06, yet at 2.07, 2.31 and 2.41, we've had 200,000 shares bought in blocks in contrast to all the recent sales. Lets hope its a sign of a formal announcement at end of play today or Monday.

Now I get an email stating that Titanium Resource Group 'can confirm that they are in receipt of Zurich’s portion of the Company’s insurance claim in line with the announcement of 15 April'. So why no formal announcement to the markets yet? How can you receive a substantial sum of cash, that must be worth a significant proportion of your market capitalisation and not announce it, yet they announce some insignificant non-exec Director appointment by comparison?!! What's going on here or do I have information in advance of the market?!!

Finally got a response from the TXR website via Aura Financial which simply said "Apologies for the delay in responding to your email. We have contacted the company and are awaiting confirmation before responding to your query". A holding email no doubt until the news is released, but we'd better hear some news on this insruance payout and the future soon. After all, how can any company liek TXR receive a substantial sum in insurance cash that's equal to a significant proportion of its market capitalisation and not announce its receipt??!! Come on TXR, pull your finger out.

Well the MM's have filled their boots on this one of late and must have plenty of cheap shares to flog at profit. Hopefully we'll get this insurance cash update first thing tomorrow morning or Monday. No response to my email yet, but I'll be calling them if I don't see any news shortly!!

Well it was another day of games wasn't it in the end?! Mind you, I took the opportunity today to email TXR and ask if they'd received the Zurich cash yet and whether the board would be releasing a statement confirming this along with an update on the other insurances and their plans for D2. Doubt they'll respond quickly, but I fancy topping up here tomorrow at 5.5p-ish if its still there. That insurance update must be imminent now.

I hope you're right Sterling Dealer, but I'll be watching this one closely tomorrow prior to the results on Friday for any buying/selling patterns to see what's happening. My original target here was 40p (from my original purchase at just under 25p) so I'm healthily up, but as you say, if the results are positive then 50p and beyond would be there for the taking especially with the improved outlook on the economy and housing. One to watch I feel.

I'm not convinced that the results on Friday will be all 'good' as many are speculating on here. As many of you will recall, the recent Interim Management Statement covering the first four trading periods of 2009 was hardly inspiring. All I've seen on this so far is some spurious link to some fella on the iii board speculating about GFRM's Friday results and speculation about a Travis Perkins takeover who are still denying any interest at this time. Even so, I still see this as a decent long term holding as the housing market begins to swing round and I'm in here at just under 25p ... so roll on Galiform!!

I wonder whether today was the last tree shake though or have we got another day or two of games from the MM before the announcement on the insurance? Despite the appeal of these in the next few days, I've yet to top up here, but am moving cash around for Thursday, as my share account is tied up in good shares that I'm reluctant to profit take on just yet. Just hoping the news release is held til Friday or Monday now!!

I think we'll be kept in the dark as the value of the award is subject to non-disclosure agreements isn't it? All they said was that it was 'materially beneficial', but then again whether it was 15 thousand or 15 million dollars, both sums could be considered 'materially beneficial', so TXR and Zurich are keeping their cards close to their chests on this one! I just think the TXR board would be remiss in their duty if they didn't confirm receipt of the cash and use the opportunity to announce progress on the balance of the insurance claims and their plans for how all this impacts upon D2. Only my opinion of course, but any announcement can only have a positive impact on the SP in the next week. I'll be keeping an eye on the SP and may even top up if it drops any further. I thought they'd made an announcement after trading on Monday, but RNS Number 0607S was about the appointment of Mr. Franois Colette as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect!

The last RNS on 15th April confirmed that Zurich would settle their proportion in cash within 30 days, so I'm assuming that if Zurich are like most insurance companies, it'll be left to the last day and TXR would want to notify us of its receipt and their plans for D2.

I'm with you there maddogmcree - the Zurich cash must come in this week and I can't imagine that TXR would let that pass without a news release and a report on what they'll be doing with it. Given the figures bandied about on here and other boards for the total insurance settlement figure, I can't help but think that when TXR get it all, their holding in cash alone should be over double their current market capitalisation. Personally, I can only see upside here at some point later this week and further upside once the other insurers confirm their claim settlements and then comes the question of what TXR plan to do with it and the timeframe.

We should expect at least one news release here this week either on or before 15th May if only to confirm that TXR have received Zurich's cash in settlement of the insurance claim (as promised last month). Of course, TXR were themselves promising to continue to pursue their claims through the courts against the balance of the reinsurers, but as I've said before, I can't see how other parties can avoid settling for much longer given Zurich's position on the matter. Wait and see I suppose, but I'm hopeful here for next week and holding.

Cheers ... should have known really, but its nice to see my little buy there helping things along! I still can't believe that there are no more buyers out there at the moment, but lets hope today's small increase is a sign of better news to come.

Hopefully hear in the next week or so, but it looks like only sells are registering for Rutley for some reason. I always wondered if games were afoot as there's rarely any buys showing here of late, so seeing as I had £330 cash doing nothing in my account, I put a Mickey Mouse purchase for 3,420 RTY shares through to top up my holding here. No surprise ... there's no sign of my purchase, but a sale shortly after did show ... its a game!!!

After reading all the forum chat last night on other boards about multiple DISL shop closures and then seeing the RNS released this morning confirming it, I thought these would have dropped like a stone, but they went up 15% first thing? Whilst its argued that this leaves the rest of the group more solid, it rung up alarm bells for me so I had to bail on these. I never had much in them, but was pleased I ended up with a small profit. The other positive is that I won't have to suffer any more downbeat news releases from the DISL board! Anyway, good luck to all those that stay in through this difficult tradng period.

Opens at 10/9, tightens up to 9.5/9 off of 4 small trades and then come close, it goes 14 buy and 7 sell??!! Thats the biggest split yet, but you've got to laugh as its happening every single night of late on this share and it tightens back up again first thing?! Anyone know what the game is as I've not seen this reproduced anywhere else on any past share I've traded? Even on LSE it goes 0/0 almost immediately every night too - everyone's in on it!!
