Euronext has bid 20 million for Bank of Ireland ATM's. Bank of Ireland is hoping to sell off 700 ATMs while AIB is considering to sell 375 cash machines.

Could you help me with this dilema please? I have 80k to 90k invested in ptsb. Should I take the hit and cash in for a loss of about 70k or hold and wait to see what happens with a possible tie up (industry merger). Has anyone any experience with mergers? what should I expect? il0a price is 1.22. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think they are taking turns on crashing prices. The IT bubble, the house price crash, trade war with china and brexit. I think its the big money re adjusting because of the introduction of crypto? And also could be a land grab. I feel sorry for England. Forgive me if I rattle cages but I think they are being sold to america, to line the pockets of politics. Hope it all settles down soon and we can see normal trade.

Interm results for BIRG 29/07/2019, for IL0A its 25/07/2019 and AIB half year is 26/07/2019.

Financial stocks were in focus, with Bank of Ireland up nearly 1 per cent and AIB up 1.2 per cent. Permanent TSB jumped 4.2 per cent.
