Well, someone with DMA (hello, brokers!) needs to engineer a rally post-signing to get into the warrant territory to avoid another placing: they're relying on the exercise money for the various batches of warrants at 1.6 following the trigger of >=2.4 being held for 5 consecutive days.

Indeed. I'm convinced the last brief runaway up was entirely P&D insiders doing their pumping on the back of Harry's appearances to get their bucket-price shares from the Firm placing forward-sold at huge profit. Those not part of the scheme will have been spiked well up from here and not wanting to put in more (burnt once). Since there won't be a placing this time, God forbid, it's a good question whether there will be an SP rally on the back of the signing.

It's more that there's no volume so anyone can push this down if that's what they want, at little cost, and someone's algo does want that. Enforcing a short, I'd guess. Volume is low because every RNS basically says "in at least a few weeks, not tomorrow" and if the probability is that you'll get the same price tomorrow, might as well wait until then. Even so, this is at or near an annual low, so it might bounce tomorrow or Monday. It would take a buy of 575k to get to 0.64, so perhaps this is the lower bound.

Since SP is doing what it did on 19th and 30th of May (amongst other dates) with someone running it up to 0.77, then down to 0.6x, then up again, etc. I think someone's trading scheme is more likely to blame at the moment than OLA activity, not that the latter is helpful to KEFI's plans.

Well, about a year ago we were being told "it was so close HA could taste it" and it was always about to happen but not only didn't it happen, they must have known that was going to be the case shortly after those statements. Several of the significant peaks were about a week before a placing at significant discount, and look fairly clearly to be P&D to forward-sell those shares. I think someone is trading in this range to keep it away from >= 0.80 where Conditional placing overhang lurks. Could do with a little pumping to get past that (volume's rubbish).

Even the ALGO bot is hitting the ask today and moving up. Someone was stung for 0.80 first thing (small amounts) by not waiting for the .7s pushers to turn up a few seconds late.

Alternatively, one of the sticky finger lot dumped their holding much higher and now are holding it to buy back at this level so they end up with what they were supposed to have (or more), after pocketing the placing profit. A late TR-1 would announce they'd finished.
