One reason I wonder if there are two automated trading agents competing is that some mornings recently there's been instability during the auction and sometimes just after it, where the book oscillates between the same two configurations, back and forth over 30 seconds or so, changing every few seconds. Unfortunately, the owners of orders aren't identified in the book, unless it's an MM position (and even then not if they are trading on their own account). So many little mysteries, so little time.

I apologise for "auto-correct" [sic] incorrectly converting many of my "its" to "it's".

The surprising thing for me was that there wasn't more selling in O trades, because I thought there might be stops set just above 0.6 that might have been triggered by the snap down. But apparently there weren't.

That was not, by any means, "massive selling". Also, you seem to be applying rules of thumb that might apply to MM-managed shares, where price movements reflect the MMs' state, and might carry information, to a SETS share on low volume, where the MMs generally keep out of the way, unless they need something. That wasn't the action today. It was a trading bot setting the price for the most part, and especially during that last burst and auction. Why? No idea what it's strategy is. I've suggested before it might be in support of a CFD bet elsewhere, but that's just a guess (it's what I'd do if I had the nerve for CFDs).

No, because no sensible person is going to pick "by afternoon tea of the 17th inst" or "the ides of March" as a target: as with software releases a target date is commonly the start or end of a month, unless there's a notable Feast Day (Christmas, Easter, Lady Day) that's a likely start of holiday breaks.

Same with P&D: doesn't do anything for the company so it's hardly going to spend effort on doing it. Unscrupulous share traders, shorters (esp naked ones), bucket shops, etc all have some interest in a P&D. Not the company. It would need a price of >=2.4 to be of the slightest interest for the company, sustained for 5 trading days, to trigger the warrant exercise condition, and that's not P&D condition.

It's a curious but common misunderstanding about shares that any company would have any interest in "luring" investors in at this point, because it doesn't get any money from all this trading. Only during placing or warrant exercise. Which daily share trading isn't.

I don't see anything like that in the June 15 RNS. What are you referring to?

It's hard to tell but it looks as though it was hitting the ask this time; if so, it was buying.

It won't have been individuals or institutions selling out (even through the book), since the trades are marked ALGO.

Most of those were A trades, and the full record on the Exchange site shows that most of *those* were ALGO (algorithmic) trades (ie, a trading bot), and I haven't seen it do large blocks recently, so perhaps it was sorting out its position.

Unlike a placing, which is inevitably leaky with so many involved, some of them not a little dodgy, the fact of an agreement having been signed is a much smaller group and easier to restrict and police. Once an RNS is on its way either way, though, ...
