Hats off, you actually would have exited just like that at 949 or 950p. I for one try to hold at least during a 1 - 2 weeks timeframe ...as long as the up-trend remains intact. Right now anything above 908p is still a valid up-trend. Lower lows, and higher highs compared to September. Judging by the silence today: This sudden 948p spike has slapped a few shorters, ha!

...and back in from 909 and 910p. Sp nicely on the one month up-trend line and still slightly higher than the former closing.

...and 899p intraday. Will you stay? Looks like continued test of 900 some more time. Up-trend one the 1-month chart remains intact. I still didn't place my main 1k share order. Although everything looks cheap, I usually prefer to buy on the way up (during a long term rise). Probably when 910p is climbed again. Also I am not looking to ride to the next level: 1,039p.

...905p, wow!! Probably real nice trading opportunities right this minute. Lets give it another while, then I will look to buy my main chunk.

Amir_007, Last week, after important new framework for PFG has been announced, the Sp has seen a nice, short lived share spike. Finally this Monday we've seen the first substantial rise above the massive 920-925p barriers, and the price still holds there. Where to now? Well, PFG has already seen a nice recovery. Just keep an eye on the first hrs of trading in case you see this deflating back to 900p or even 880p :)) Not really important, unless you are a daytrader who works with leverage or large sums of money. At the end of the day I think there is a good chance that PFG will establish above 920p soon.

jetcrowts, My sell point has still not been touched. Indeed, could see a bit of a retrace tomorrow, but there is a valid new up-trend in the making as long as this stays above the newly gained 920p and 900p. Now as there is proven buying force as well as II's interest, this has become a long term invest for me. Even If I sell and buy back a few slices every other day, I will likely stay put permanently with a chunk of lets say 500 shares. (Truly sorry for my poor foreign English! When with friends crawling through English or Irish Pubs here in CH/Zurich, I often note that English chitchat works totally different. So I shall try to avoid jokes that can easily be misinterpreted.) I hope your 900p entry works for you. As for me: I will stay as long as it is above 925p and 934p. Look at the recent rebound down there. It would be very good news by the way if the Sp stays above 940p this afternoon.

jetcrowts, Come on, that 100k was a little joke, nothing more! (I remember very well that you traded several times on Friday. Furthermore I noted very well that you stayed in over the weekend and riding this morning spike to as high as 950p. (The medal is not meant sarcastic at all. Sir, cheer up a little! You just made "shedloads", as you say in the UK. So lets all relax a little.)

...930.50p. Its important that at the end of the day PFG stays above the newly gained 934p, and at least 920-925p. Only this would validate a new long term up-trend. (Jetcrowts, here comes your new 900p entry :))

jetcrowts, And the medal of the day goes to... Once again that was some great trading of yours! Hmmm, 8% of 100k worth..., hmm, that's eight grand for holding over the weekend :)) Nothing compared to my normal day 1,000 share lots, ha! I for one am staying as long as this stays above the newly gained 925p and 934p, because the rise above these lines signals a breakthrough.Something is going on behind the PFG scenes. Maybe the announcement of their new CEO soon...? Could be. Denby69, Please scroll back... One td strategy was that it fills last weeks gap. Another strategy was that 920p is eventually climbrf and maintained (for the first time this month). It opened nicely lower this morning, and then the race begun. (Staying as long as 934p is maintained. Luchtime now!)
