Very glad to see the Sp stabilizing that quickly! And very nice buying as soon as the massive mid term support around 8.50p has been touched. - Currently its still a normal TA retrace after an overheated chart - the correction this morning was overdone, probably because of stop-losses and profit taking - the important 9.15 - 9.20 support has been confirmed and will now try to establish as the long term support - price above 9.25 signals a stable sideways (50tick EMA line on the 15 min chart) - IMHO the first new bullish signal comes when 9.75 barrier is climbed (mid price) - long term bullish alert IF 10.60 wall is climbed DYOR anyway!

GS, over the last three weeks you've seen strong shorting - as from the 880p line down to the recent ridiculous 790ish spikes. The late reported sells recently are short positions that have been closed. Huge 15k, 25k and even 90k share sells that have been running for several days. (As long as his desired target price is not filled, the shorters position can remain open for several days without being reported. It is only reported when filled or when closed by his own doing.) Something is brewing here, and I think PFG will announce stable Q4 figures and a re-establish of the dividend. professional traders are aware that this could spike up all of a sudden. This is why the majority of shorts is being closed now. (Check UK website for the current short position!)

Well said, Daisan. Just one little input: TA can uncover trading patterns behind the scenes, and that's all I need to know to make a decision. If it wasn't for the technical, I would have pumped in a lot more above 12p. I for one am very thankful for that little safety net. Best to combine both worlds, charts & news. First one tells me that ARS has been overbought last week, as from 11 and 12p, and that it was not a good time to keep topping up (as some have shouted for). Well said, Daisan! Intelligent people should not bother that much about other peoples opinion. I think Finncairn eventually saw a problem with betting all of his funds on one card ...hoping-wishing-expecting a sure thing license announcement at the end of November. Not a good combination.

You've been in these for many months now since those 4.80-5.00p times, correct? Nothing goes up in one straight line, that's all I wanted to say. If you prefer to argue constantly, if you prefer to trash all technical analysts for their opinion, then its up to you. I prefer to use the filter button. In the meantime the share price has breached the mentioned 9.80p support and retraced exactly to the mentioned 9p support levels. Now struggling there. As for the exact barrier lines in my worthless little opinion: - first buy-signal tomorrow when 888 is climbed (bullish confirmation at 891.50) - then rise till about 899p - if 899p is climbed, then quick rise to 914p where the Sp will bounce (if there is no substantial news) - IMHO long term buy alert only IF the massive 936.40p wall is breached

DSQJei, its best done on a laptop, and remember to stay logged in, or some of the clowns (thetank) with their five finger Mary will suddenly reappear! Simply filter away those who do not match your individual startegy. I am doing the same. So - so week for newbies who just got in recently as from 12ish. Repeated pressure on the 9.80 support. Good to see it keeps holding up nicely. (IF breached, then slide to 9.15.) Confirms my theory that for me it is best to top-up during a healthy new up-trend - instead of topping up during an ongoing technical correction. Always good to keep some powder dry. Odd to see that on days of RNS the Sp shows certain weakness... Well, I am not a news-investor and simply prefer to look at the facts ...on the chart: The Sp always speaks the truth. It will never lie to you! Quite refreshing fact in todays world of finance. Interesting the afternoon dip to as low as 9.59p. Sick!!! At the moment neatly and nicely holding above the mid term support lines.

10.35 -0.27 (-2.59%) For a minute tested 9.80p again. Actually a bit surprised to see these levels again given the smalltraders euphoria, right Finncairn? The 10.25p support line must now hold firm. Otherwise retrace to about 9.80p. If that is breached, then 9.15p. Let's see if there comes the mentioned top-up opportunity. For the moment I am just happy I did not buy in blind in recent days. 887.00 +20.50 (2.37%) Market is expecting a new stream of RNS over the next few weeks. Also PFG so far has not made a quarterly loss in company history... Dividend could be re-installed in spring 2018. Only the announcement would send this to a decent 1,800 level.

Just note this much: If charting can be applied to copper, it can be applied here. Investors around the globe have had copper on their charts and some are currently shorting it. They are doing so because of a sure thing TA alert. ARS currently is in a normal and valid technical sideways correction. This is all I need to know for future steps. To buy from 1p and focus merely on this one company and eventually go all in...that's not my cup of tea.
