Currently the Sp is struggling at that line. (The current rebound could also just be connected with rising copper prices.)

Quick update: First sign of new life as soon as the 10.25 barrier is climbed (mid price). Signal confirmed at the mentioned 10.65. Every share follows similar trading patterns and decent entry points; even supershares Amazon and Apple - even the Bitcoin :)) Patience is a virtue for PI's, yes indeed. This does not refer to hold on to losses on and on and on. It rather means to ignore all sharehype and company PR (who have provided the final 12ish ramp on proactiveinvestors), and patiently wait for a technical correction. And yet another legend refuted: The copper price is rising again, the ARS share price isnt. So there might not be that much connection between both. The latest setback IMHO has been because of an overheated Sp which made investors topslice, after huge two-, three and fivefold gains since this summer.

Got to correct: - first sign for a new up-trend comes when 807 - 810 is climbed and maintained - buy signal is confirmed IMHO as soon as 817 is climbed - then new trend towards 865 and 880

Continue to see supporting buys as from the mentioned 8.80 / 9.15 / 9.25 in recent days. Someone is not giving away his (or her:) stake

First positive sign if the 810p barrier is climbed. SP knocking on that door now. Those who successfully jumped ship before the recent consolidation should now keep a close eye on things. Next buy signal inly confirmed IF 865p is climbed.

IMHO i dont think that its Neil Woodford who has been dumping. He doesnt have to, because eversince the 900-950p days there has been repeated shorting of PFG from other ii's. During this time Woodford has increased their stake from 20 -> 21%, and thats at a high 850-950 average price. If he were pumping and dumping, he could have simply waited to increase at the November lows, but he didnt, he bought in much earlier. Another thing to observe is that Neils buddies (Invesco) also have a say in this with their 20% stake. And last but not least: It wasnt Woodford who caused the sudden death of the former CEO and its 100p downspike on that day.

...if he climbs above 30% holding, Woodford will have to make an offer for a takeover or simply management buyout.

Still holding. Not trading. And now adjusting AT buys for a possible rebound. IMHO the next buy-signal comes when 9.50 is climbed (mid price) with the up-trend confirmed at 10.65. If confirmed, then rise to 12.70 and 16.60 possible. Buyers will eventually return, as they did with any retrace in the past one or two years. Even hefty weeklong corrections for ARS only created the platform for the next step of the long term up-trend steps. Currently TA suggests just a normal day retrace. Whether triggered by the copper price, largecap miners or other reasons: If I am honest to myself (and to newbies!), I can openly admit that ARS has been a little bit overhyped in November.

To define the bottom of a share its best to cosult the historical chart with decades of timeframe. If you scroll back you'll see that in 2004 Provident was trading between 730-750p. Is PFG worth less in 2018 than it has been worth fourteen years ago?

Todays low: 8.755, but then quickly back above the 9.15 support. And now back down again, exactly at the second support: 8.81 (-5.97%). So where the hekk is the bespoken license??? Anyway, I for one will use the opportunity to adjust all AT buys just in case of a rebound. New buy-signal when 9.50 is climbed (confirmed at 10.65). SammyDavis, no worries! You probably still hold a decent overall average. Me I waited a bit too long with the 2nd entry and only hold around 7ish. With the current stage of development in company history I am thinking to hold out even if my entry is touched... @updo, That's a decent fundamental-sum-up of yours. As for the share price oracle: Even if for many reasons (for eg license) ARS remains severely undervalued, the majority of investors (as well as insiders who have access to first hand info) believe that its worth eight or nine Pence. Not more. This is why they stopped buying as from 11p This is why they placed huge automated buys around 8.50 for whatever retrace. Looking at some of the chunky sells that went through IMHO some seem to have locked in gains for the year end. Likely some huge gains which have been generated within three or four months only!
