...and 701.40. If 710 are climbed, then recovery to about 736.50p. The fair chart retracement value. If it keeps bouncing and closes below 699, then sideways within a normal day 661 - 690p (the new 860 - 890p).

...and 698. So theres the race to 690p. Almost tempted to sell my 667p entry again, but now waiting for 710p. Who said it is all bad here at PFG...?

...and back above 684.00. That was a fast race-up! Lets see if that 675p holds. You've seen large buys as from 661 and 675. Now holding an 670 average.

There are repeated large supporting buys as from 661p, and the share price is starting to stabilize. "They" could come one morning and stay the entire company will be bought up entirely by Invesco, Woody and Deutsche. At what price this might be...? Might dip my toe in again now with a small bet, just to be part of the game.

...665p, and the Sp bounced for a second time today as from 661p right this minute.

RDR, I thought Provident was basically driven by Invesco & club holding 60% of the company? Will they sell it down to super-lows?? At a certain point they could buy up 100% of the company. I might take a neat little 2k bet on that scenario as from 650 ish. (Just an amount you don't worry about.)

Now as 670 and 669p are being touched and breached, keep an eye on 660p to see if there are repeated supporting as this morning.

The Sp now has a last chance to stabilize at around 672. If 670-675p is breached, then slide to 600ish, which will then become the new 800-850ish for a while. Just remember that today there has been large supporting buys as from 660p this morning. After three days of retracement (or actual selloff) it is likely to see some stabilization. Also: Whoever is still holding and thinks about selling, in my opinion its best to evaluate what amount of shares you can or you are willing to hold on to for the next two or three years. if someone is holding 10k Pounds worth and holding a severe loss by now, my strategy would be to keep holding at least 40% of my initial stake. (Why be pushed to actually "realize" a loss if there is no need to.)

live 705.13 -98.87 (-12.30%) The only way for a immediate technical recovery (without news) is when PFG manages to climb above 720p again. Recovery confirmed if 735-740p is climbed.

Low: 650.40 Wow! That's a quick low for a change! Sorry, but only arrived at my work desk this minute. Several tranches of my AT sells have been triggered on Monday as well as yesterday. For now I wont be back as long as 750 / 790 and 830 are not regained again.

Tomorrow probably establishing the former 830p and 850p line again. Anyways: All above 810p is decent and okay. Fair value - without your british Carillion default - is around 1,100p for PFG

This current selloff - almost into freefall - has been completely overdone for one reason or the other. Few chapters on the TA chart show a 100 or 120 Pence drop during one morning. Again and again stops were taken out, at 900, at 875, at 850p and so on. Wanna bet on a rebound?

...and lets not forget thatany on here have traded thkse swings, from 790 - 890 last autumn.Or that recent 740-940p rise this winter. Nothing bad about that!

Its very likely that this line has pulled the trigger today - while a large number of investors were speculating that the dividend could be re-installed as early as this January. Wrongly speculated.
