RE: just Topped Up22 Jan 2018 22:00
JMO, eversince last years price crash institutionals kept topping up here. Especially after each 150p drop (staged or not), they (Neil & friends), used the opportunity to buy another percentage of this company! From 19 to 20%. From 21 to 22%. And now from 22 to 23%...
Where are they headed?
Almost seems to me that they are after the entire company. Think about it: All it would take is one phone call between Woodford, Invesco and Deutsche Bank and they t/o right away and shape the company future.
In my opinion there are these strategic options right now:
1) Woodford & Co will slowly accumulate more and more shares in the coming months, while the newsfront is quiet and this share appears to be boring. (It is! :))
2) The repeated rise since September 2017 has been Woody & Institutionals playing with the Sp. They easily lifted the Sp to 950 with large buys (it went up almost in one straight line), soaking in newbies; eventually they used each and every company news for a selloff - taking out stoplosses, allowing the Sp into freefall, started to support the Sp at silly low 790p, 750p and even that ridiculous 660p recently. Few of the former "950p newbies" can have survived such a crash. And hear hear: Suddenly you read that Woodford has increased his stake, and comes closer to the magic 30%.
3) Another option is that company insiders (Woodford & Invesco) will use the ongoing news silence and let the share price drift to silly low levels, 600ish, 500ish and 480p, as the shorters from "Liberium Capital" want it. And there is where they might t/o the company for a neat price.
4) The oversold share price (after the CLNN panick) will see a strong rebound in the next few days, again fuelled by large institutional buying, closing the gaps on the chart around 815 and even 900p. This scenario is very likely IF the share price manage to climb 710p easily this week and rises above 735p.
II's would fuel the rebound to 900p, and then announce the lomg awaited capital raise for 700-750p per share.
