Well said, Daisan & kevgrimmley! Add on top the current market nervosity (since Nov 2018) where investors ignore solid/positive but focus totally on the one hair in the soup...

This usually happens in times when investors / institutions see their main market shares suddenly being hit. Look around, so many big names chopped in recent months the US & UK. And then people tend to overreact wherever they still hold a very decent gain (like here at Bmn).
In my opinion this nervosity is the reason for those short lived share spikes currently, which in recent weeks have survied barely ten minutes.

The mentioned support line has served us very well in recent weeks. And while today sees one or the other 37ish seller, you see the Sp bouncing almost exactly at above 37.37. Pardon that I mentioned 37.80p :D

IMO the focus is now on the 37.80 line; still decent support there. Now let's see if the current rebound on the main markets will help lift the Sp one of these days...

hope2again, that is just a general assumption of investors if a company keeps silence over a longer period. Just as they kept silence about the Nomad appointment - barely on schedule.

I go with the Dyani seller theorie; it might be them who placed large automated sells to unload their 15M shares. Who is the buyer? I think it is allied chinese investors/ financers of Power China who are currently using each and every share price rinse to collect shares on the open market.

We'll see, as soon as Polo announces a negotiation with the chinese for the 29% Gcm stakeholding.

Nextlink, isn't it a bit like divorcing a partner? We dont like to go through that, right? But why actively seek such a hard time to come with the Brexit? Come on, you surely have some sympathy for the French, and maybe friends over there? And lots of british expats live and work in Germany. Lots of UK tourists visit here in Switzerland... Think about it: If they made EU referrendum, asking if we should keep the UK in the union, what would people vote?? No way on earth that any of my friends in Paris or Munich would seperate from Britain. We are family, right? I cant understand why british hate us so much. East Europe is not just p7sspoor places. Lots of new countries, like Poland, are doing very well on their own. At the same time there are "old" countries like Greece who do shait, and whom we constantly have to support. Well, thats like in any normal family, and you and me are richer than any Bulgarian mid aged man can ever think of! And rumpteen times rcher than most Greek pensioneers. So let them have their crumb! Or shall they turn to Russia for support? If this means I have to put up with that weekly theatre with politicians Brussles, so be it :)) "Nigel" sits there as well, right?

In my opinion first new life here if 40.30 line is regained. Large buying starting if 42.90 climbed.

Because investors will fully digest the Nomad appointment, and someone seems to pick up shares... Nicole, I dont think it has to do with mm's manipul.... In my opinion our consulting company has set automated sells at 30, 40 and 60p, and keeps throwing their 15 mln shares on the market.

Nope, more likely, after Dyani flooded the market with always more shares (obviously during each spike) and still no GL ahead, the more realistic t/o would be some 250 ish. The buyer could always argue the ongoing Bangladesh postponement as well as vast amounts needed to finance the mine.

Nice one, Coldspy! An announcement about a dual listing / Dhaka listing (= more trust from BD investors) would send GCM instantly to 100p in my opinion.

Everything might be in preparation of an outright takeover offer in my opinion.
Those rise & rinse tactics in recent weeks (to skyhigh 70p and scaramonging 25p!), must have freed a substantial number of shares. With some friendly smiling chinese investors already collecting Gcm shares on the open market. Ideally before Gcm submits the mine proposal at the end of February.

Anyway, just let the Sp speak the truth: If Gcm regains 39-41p in the next two weeks, this will likely point to a takeover scenario IMHO.

Dow Jones recovery... As soon as miners rebound substantially, in my opinion GCM will be pulled up together with the market. Growing risk appetite again.

Merely chart technically speaking the fair balanced price today is around 33 - 35p. Todays overdone drop is because of short term investors (ongoing risk aversion).

Profit point, also observe that quite a few people (PIs) used the opportunity to sell around 39p. Look around, J3imy and others said they sold. I bet that droves of people sold who got caught in here since the 35p days ...one week ago.
I for one still holding.
The Nomad appointment was just a formality IMO, and a company of this profile like GCM, with a hugh mother company, should not have a problem with that.
