The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Needs to climb 5.75 - 5.80p mid price to make a difference.
Storm in a teacup again?
(While the silly high spread remains fully intact.)
Ehmm, what's the sudden new interest here? Nice little volume breakout so far...
"...if that took you by surprise then whats the point of charting?. Surely its predictive tool. Just asking." Zebediah16
Fair enough!
Zebediah, like said by many posters before, you wll agree that very positive fundamental news immediately overwrites all technical signals. So given the latest positive outlook, with LT holders very upbeat here (and constantly topping up, like "fatbanker"), I am a little surprized that there remains a large seller in the background who is crippling the Sp.
This is pushing BMN to these silly low technical support lines.
Why this small price wobble here with a variety of mid size sells? Sloppyjockey, have you got more to go? :)) The Sp still bouncing from a 14 ish double top, several times now. As for news, I am mostly technical focussed and usually work with the good old british saying: "Buy on rumours, sell on news..." Still holding one decent chunk, but topsliced a few last week. While each step of positive news means further progress for the LT investment, in most cases the actual news also reflects the full reality... while the market wants to have "fantasy". This is why IMO the actual news release makes quite a few investors appreciate from the rise, sell for a good profit.
Well said, ToeDipper!
@beeshones,
Is the united kingdom not european? Not connected with the european continental shelve in any way? The English are anglo-saxonians, right? And Prince Philippi is from the house of Hannover, correct? And the fine woman Elizabeth had grandparents near Heidelberg, right?
"...another example of why we need to put as much space in-between us and the Europeans."
Maybe one idea would be to "tow-away" the english isle over to iceland? Or maybe down to New Zealand? Or over to northern Russia with a decent yearlong ice shelve. Up to you !
