457.50p. The Sp trying to regain lost ground, but bounces immediately at the upper barriers. In my opinion Sp trying to reconnect with 456 and 454 one last time.

- Right now the Sp will deflate to 456.00 - 456.50p IMO
- All is well today if the price keeps holding there
- Any rise above 459-460 would be a first positive signal for a new trend

Yupp, earthling! Nice and stable.
And in my worthless opinion LTHs who did not bother selling during the urgent sell-alert at 1,000 nor at 815p at the end of July, are now safe to hold as long as stakeholders maintain 450.00 - 451.50, with the Sp trying to build a double platform there.
But, we are not off the hook just yet. Something heavy going on behind the scenes that is keeping the Sp at these lows.

Yes, IMO it would be best to abandon the project. Some on here said that the current selloff is mostly stirred by leading stakeholders (Credit Suisse and whatnot) who try to make the BoD to cancel the deal.

In case tomorrow our mentioned 451-450p target is not maintained at all cost, then new wave of selling to 442. First, lets give 451 one last chance to hold in the morning. See you as from 9 AM on the trading desk!

Just allow the Sp to find its level first. In uncertain times for a pro trader its best to focus on things that are certain: The upper barrier lines. - IMO there can only be a new buy alert if the strong 466 wall is climbed. - The most important confirmation comes at 474 and 482. I find it best to adjust the automated buys, just in case of a rebound (once that KAZ has driven out PIs).

The deal with a british company comes handy for Kremlin figures: They get someone who does the work, extract the sleeping deposit, the british invest money, help develop the mine - and suddenly Russia is immune against sanctions at this major project. If this deal goes through, the EU will not be able to sanction this mine, while the kremlin mob around Abramowich get a major share. IMO private LTHs are being driven out now.

Firewood, I had to laugh a bit, you mentioning a russian "businessman", thst no normal person would want anything to do... Fair enough! IMO these guys are clearly using the situation to squeeze out as many UK (private) investors for always lower prices. - This is why they came announcing this idiotic plan, while everyone knows to stay away from Russia as the sanctions continue. - This is why they tisked negative coverage from brokers. - This is why they keep silence and will put some more pressure on the KAZ. Few PIs can hold on since 900, 600, 400p without throwing the towel. Take a look around, FTSE12 and others have done just that. Slowly slowly, while PIs are selling at the lowest possible price in chart history, someone is increasing his stake at KAZ. Likely its the bunch of these kremlin trolls. Buy low, sell high. Easy peasy:)) Happens everywhere, but only rarely by PIs. Very few are ready (or able) to stay invested untill the endgame. Once company insiders agree for a time, they will let the Sp spike up.

Earthling, matie, if you come over and relax at the bright sunny trading desk at lake Zurich, I shall explain it to you properly:
- Last night we saw the first attempt to rise through 474, which has eventually failed. Fact.
- If that signal had been successful, then we could have held the buy from 474 until 560.
- There it would have bounced. As soon as 560 were surpassed, there would have been a new long term buy alert.

Today I am referring to merely SORT TERM buy-signals, and the first is starting from 461 and 463.20p.
Only useful for traders.

Picket, thanks for that. Like some said, this is a short term recovery play, but then yet needs to overcome a mid term downtrend.
Add on top the possibility that the US markets could soon end their nice year (the longest in history!) and then see some 20% setback.

As for my worthless opinion: I think the stockmarket rally will come to an end through an impeachment of Trump. Its all very very similar corrupt situation of Nixon... And this long silence of "Mueller" doesn't bode well.
I think the party will get rid of Trump after the mid term elections.

...and a nice short term technical rebound to 459.50p.

- IMO first new buy alert in case 461p are climbed. Right now its bouncing there.
- Strong short term buy-alert when 463.20 are climbed.

Now 455.00 needs to hold under all circumstances, otherwise final retrace to 451.50 with a very decent chance to hold there. Furthermore such an event would create a balanced vchart picture.

Lets give it a "Hold" right now, even though this risks to see 451.50p. Lets not be greedy! What are a few pops here and there anyway in the long term success of KAZ and company directors.

1M share options, money for nothing and chics for free... Right, so this is how some of the muscovite riches are created. In my Mr Novichuk will soon have to hand over some of his "income"shares to the kremlin bunch. Here he wont get away with a perfume flacon, will he?
IMO the market assumes that some of these shares will be sold, come September.

Also good to work with a trailing stop buy that follows the price down. IMO its best to adjust in case of a sudden rebound.
- Next valid buy-signal only if 463.20 climbed.
- Currently it has a good chance to hold at 458.60. If this line is maintained throughout this afternoon, then the retrace is over for today.

Tomorrow is another day (and a completely new price calculation).

IMO the next bearish confirmation comes as soon as our initial 459 target falls.

- In this case retrace to 456.80 and your mentioned 455.
- Very good sign TA speaking if the Sp can bottom and hold firm between 455-451.
- Otherwise we have to start a completely new chart calculation.

And well said, George! With the Sp still fighting resisting a little to hold around 460p, everything is prepared now for the next push heads underwater.

Best to remember that no share is immune against a sharp rise nor a sharp retracement. All that is physically possible can actually happen. It would be naive to look for the final bottom-out price right now.

Daytrading implies a short term basis. All that matters right now is the question IF the share will fall today (as it did) or IF it will rise today (as some suggested). Once the direction is sure, then you go and calculate the bottom price for this one day (or for two days). In our case 459 and then 456.80p.

If this target is reached then wait until the support is confirmed and works during several sessions.
In case that 456.80 is breached, then obviously you sit down and calculate a completely new retracement target. Step by step to the target.
If someone has a better formula, please let me know :))
