Tiburn - there is a lot of noise which seems to have drowned out Nigerian OPL 266 licensing.
Strange as all hopes seemed to hang in the balance of OPL 266 until shareholders were informed about Atomic in December 2020.
Since then Nigeria has become somewhat of an after though imo for PIs as the excitement has been Atomic, Atomic, Atomic.
However, I am of the opinion that as a junior dealing with big players we could have found ourself in a dog fight that we couldn’t win, one that seen us bullied or controlled to a degree due to our market positioning and share price / cash in bank.
Well Atomic changes all that, we can now stand our ground, we can fund our way and we can hold out for the drilling and to see the oil gush. I truly believe that this deal is not only transformational in the way of monetary value but in at strengthening our stance and allowing it to compete with major players and partners going forward allowing us to hold our own!
The market may well not believe it till it sees it because it seems to good to be true but opinions and sentiment will change in the beat of a RNS and everyone will want a slice of the pie.
Near term bags, long term gains, this current SP and MC has something to offer every investor or trader out there, build it and they will come, once Art delivers this will rise and rise high as milestones are reached and production output increase so will the MC and our positioning!
Once everything we relied on OPL 266 has become the icing and Cherry on top of a big cake ! GLA
