what is the net asset value for CRV after this increase?
In any normal Company this news would be the subject of an RNS - Mr.Pajak is no doubt a clever chap but even he will struggle to do this full time job ( reporting to a Chairman and CEO who apparently has no position in the other companies where Pajak has an Executive role.)
Details of Mr.Pajak's recent deals and comparisons with the budgeted success would also have been helpful
wise words CJ -if you're not worried then i am not worried, but if the debt collecting is so successful why are they not continuing this operation in RSA.
Message to Chairrnan never tell your shareholders what you are going to do - tell them when you have done it! Who is running this company? The Chairman?? Pajak!! The MMs?!? The cleaner. I wonder if the Out of Africa is necessary to hide the loss they will make on the Bad Debts they bought - SA Banks only sell Bad Debts that are really BAD
extract from my autobiography "NEXT TO ME".....in my opinion (NED's) fall into five categories......the Titled ones ..... look good on the letterhead......there is the "I'll be on your board if you'll be on mine" gang.....third the CEO that retires " to spend more time with his Family" and accepts every Non Executive Directorship he is offered before the truth gets out that he was actually fired for incompetence. Next there is the full-time CEO who is encouraged to take on Non Executive Directorships despite the fact he has neither the time nor the interest to do the job properly. Last there are the "good ones' I wonder which one is Mr. Burrows
TC AND K FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF CRAVEN - I AM GOING TO STUDY THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS OR SO TO DECIDE WHERE I AM GOING WITH THIS INVESTMENT KARINA HOW MANY SHARES HAVE BEEN ISSUED AT THE EQUIVALENT OF $12.5 - HAPPY DAYS
It would be nice to have some interesting news on my birthday next week! Since a new "professional" Chairman has been appointed Craven have strengthened the management team -we hope! - held a proper constituted AGM - good old Scargs - and maybe given a little bit of hope for the "unbelievers!!!!
Karina - My family hold 81,118 = 3.3% regards
a good company would have declared the relationships - always providing TC is correct
That the loans are personal Mortgages bought at a discount of 90% where is very little chance of collecting any cash. The debtor has disappeared into the Jungle! so this is more of a property deal not a debt collecting one.

thanks to my 30 year old calculator and based on: yesterday's price of 0.0125p - today's price of $12.50 and $1.33 to the £ I estimate that the share price has gone up by 2.46% so far today back to sleep!!!
This news is disappointing but it is not a disaster - nothing has changed in the company BUT I am now concerned about the quality of the Management and their advisers - they all broke the golden rule " NEVER PROMISE THE CITY ANYTHING YOU CANNOT DELIVER" Mark has to make a positive announcement NOW to show that he is capable of creating a $1B company.
Thank you Karina - guess the share price in 12 months!!!!!!
Thanks for your feed back of the meeting Karina. What makes you so positive? Their Leader?? The Team?? or the large number of good deals waiting to be done - Do you think that the deals they have had for some time justifies the Bullish enthusiasm
£6.7m new money - clear indication of countries to invest in - new investors must know something otherwise why invest at price of 1.25p -this means that one group of shareholders has information that others do not have - surely the company should issue another RNS now so that all shareholders know the plan???
I have never been totally comfortable about the claim that all new shares are issued at a price of 1.25 because the assets could be overvalued - however at a share price of 085 the premium is 50% - one would hope that the auditors would pick this up. But this weeks news really cheered me up! Assuming a share price of 085 let's say they would have to pay 100 for that volume of shares i.e. a total of £2.77m -therefore they have a theoretical "loss" of £700k or 025 per share - I can see a price of 1.50 once the market feels the upside. As the Daddy of all posters do you agree TC?
in case anyone is interested "Only the Lonely"by Roy Orbison
Each night when I retire to bed I sing the song that contains the words "maybe tomorrow an RNS" There must be something happening because if there isn't they will be in trouble with the Stock Exchange! I am still in! 5 points to first person to name that tune
