Ananda, can you avoid talking nonsense? I am a long-term shareholder. I bet I have much more Futura shares than you can imagine. If you are too naive to participate in rational and constructive discussion, please shut up.

If history events repeat, this RNS may be a warning!? The last similar event happened on 09.09.16 major shareholder Henderson Group sold 304,280 shares at around 85p. Several weeks later on 27.10.16 Futura raised £12 million by issuing new placing shares at 57p. If Futura is about to be taken over at a triple digit price by a big pharma, it makes no sense to me that Lombard sold 1% interest at around 34p unless they have already known about a potential placing that will happen several weeks later at a much lower price. I hope my 6th sense is wrong. Any comments?

We will be back to 40p soon. Yesterday some posters talking about waiting for the shares below 30p to buy, will only regret seeing it rocket later. Back in early 2012 after CSD500 got approval, 2 big Pharmas were willing to pay £2 a share to take over FUM, what price a bidder will pay now?

This low sp will soon be a history. I topped up this morning simply because it’s a great time to buy, not to sell. With today’s RNS, all obstacles to Phase 3 trials are removed, which will surely lead to commercialisation of Med2002, though not too soon but in 2 to 3 years time, by then FUM has already become a 10 bagger. It will take potential partners or bidders a few days to finalise their strategy whether to be just a licensee or to takeover the Company. Sp will soon rocket again when things are clearer, whether it’s a licence deal or takeover, FUM will be a superstar this year and the years to come.

My pure speculation: I guess Milan-based middle-size pharma Recordati may involve in licensing talks with Futura. Recordati has presence in UK, Europe and US. They have recently helped Plethora Solutions (a former AIM company) launch Fortacin a premature ejection spray, in Europe and UK. And they are more trustworthy than Futura’s former partners GSK and RB, and are willing to pay millions and keep contracts in good will. Med2002 maybe a good addition to their existing lifestyle portfolio. Any other ideas, anybody?

Their pulling out from Pfizer’s deal does enhance their possibility in somewhere else. Hope they will end up in Futura. It seems smart money resumed to flow into Futura this morning. Am I right?

Rhodi, I wish there will be a celebration party in the end but I doubt it very much. I am one of those unhappy LTHs who have been disappointed again and again by James Barder. Every time a RNS is out, sp drops by 30 to 50%. It shows the market doesn’t trust him either. He has kept repeating his promises but never deliver. I hope the second part of the PK study will be positive as well, otherwise it will be hell for all shareholders. I am wondering whether JB deliberately split the PK report into 2 parts in order to release the good bit first and delay the bad news to follow a month later.

Thomas, you are not the only one getting no where to register to iii discussion board. I hold a trading account and a research account with them. I have tried for 6 months, phoned and e-mailed them for a login nickname but got no response at all. And finally lodged complaints but they just ignored them all and failed to response within 2 days as promised in their website. The way they treat customers show how bad their company is.

How much should a FUM share be worth is very much a question JB should answer. As their potential valued products is on their way of being trashed one after another, the only valuable left is the prime product MED2002. Back in early 2012 when CSD500 was approved, its sp was in 3 digits, just over a pound. And two big Pharmas Reckitt Benckiser and Australia’s Ansell were ready to bid for it, offering up to £2 share. Obviously, JB asked for too much and the takeover was aborted. 6 years passed and the values of the products and sp decreased. JB lost his prime moment to sell shares at £2 in 2012. And this time maybe his last chance to reap the fortune. If a big pharma comes up and offers him a three digit price, he should grab it. It’s better to materialise the profits now than to repeat his same old steps of seeing product value diminished later.

Back in October 2016, Zak Mir in his article “Ready to go again, Futura Medical tipped to rally” set 120p as Futura price target in 6 months. That target has yet to be reached.
