The company joined AIM in 2006 at 90p and reached 170p in late 2007. But market sentiment, oil price falls, antipathy towards AIM-listed stocks, and general lack of interest has seen it nosedive 42.5p at which it's valued a shade under £18.5m. In the half year to the end of June, earnings per share were 10.4 cents (US$) which, if repeated for the second half, puts Velosi on a price-to-earnings ratio (PER) of less than three at the current exchange rate. But the balance sheet also shows cash of 25p per share, current assets worth 65p a share and an overall net asset value of £39.5m.

Cash generation in 2008 was strong and continues to improve into 2009. The Group is closely focused on ensuring the business operates on a streamlined cost base whilst ensuring that it does not forego commercial opportunities. 2008 was a good year for the business, are now entering a more challenging period and are in a strong position. Velosi will report its results for the 12 months to 31 December 2008 on 20 April 2009.

Later from here I wonder if we shall see more interest in Northacre. Lots of projects in hand with targets for 2010 for several developments including the Lancasters joint ventured with Minerva as mentioned by GedW and Wookie down the Page. With possible improvement for property here forward the potential when realized, cannot surely be priced in at the current 11p share price.

Electrical component maker E2V has reassured that results for the year just ended will hit market expectations despite difficult trading in some sectors.

Invista Real Estate Investment Management, the London-listed property fund with £6.3bn of managed assets, sealed a deal over the weekend to expand into Asia. The group, led by chief executive Duncan Owen, has entered a conditional contract to acquire the Asian real estate fund of Babcock & Brown, the collapsed Australian infrastructure investor. Mr Owen said that the deal will be complete by the end of next month, but did not comment on the price of the transaction.

COBHAM REACHES AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE US NATIONAL SECURITY COMPANY FOR US$36.25 MILLION Cobham plc is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement to acquire the share capital of Argotek, Inc. In the event that a continuation vote in respect of any class of shares is not passed, the Company's articles of incorporation require the Directors, within 3 months, to put forward proposals to offer to redeem all of the Company's shares of that class. However, where the class or classes of shares in respect of which a continuation vote is/are not passed collectively represent in aggregate 75 per cent. or more of the Company's aggregate net assets, the Directors (at their discretion) may first put to all Shareholders proposals to offer to repurchase their shares or to reorganise, reconstruct or wind up the Company.

BlueCrest ALLBLUE FUND LIMITED (the 'Company') Continuation Votes The Company's rolling 12 month discount floor provision has been triggered for the Euro class of the Company's shares, by reference to the final Net Asset Value (the 'NAV') as at 27 February 2009. This requires, in accordance with the Company's articles of incorporation, a continuation vote to be proposed for this class of shares by way of ordinary resolution.
