Acquisition Update Satisfaction of condition for the acquisition of Mitchell's Oil Field Services, Inc. (`Mitchells') Wood Group, the international energy services company, confirms receipt of anti-trust approval from the US Federal Trade Commission for its proposed acquisition of Mitchells. The condition to the acquisition having been satisfied, the acquisition of Mitchells is expected to complete by 22 October 2012.

Did top up last week, and the Share Price is up with Market sentiment proving positive. Will be interesting to see if targets are met in due course.

Not always convinced by Broker views, but the general comment of late, and yes, including Questor's earlier this week. Aberdeen's past and predicted future performance looks fairly sound. Today, Exane BNP Paribas posted a Buy on Outperformance with a target of 350p. Could see a 10% return if things pan out on the current SP. My view, its worth consideration.

Hi Chequemate, yes similar stocks and only you can decide the choice. However I believe this year Noble could reach a record Share price. It has also gained more attention from the Market of late. Stanley Gibbons, although better known to Investors is a bit more of yo-yo over the year. Anyway, my monies in here with NBL. Regards and good luck to you too.

Nothing but good press regarding Noble. I still hold some from way back and added this week. I would think during these shakey times NBL is far less of a gamble than many other stocks.

Eurovestech's ToLuna investment has paid off. Profits now showing on the books wiping out last year's loss. However, this Stock never realy shines in its Share price and it will be interesting to see if momentum shows from the Market in due course !
