“Assuming Gas is found”!!!
One therm is equal to 100 cubic feet of natural gas
Using rounded and lower figures
In the US one therm of gas is approx $1 Dollar
In the UK one therm of gas is approx $6 Dollars (and rising)
Pensacola field 300 Bcf = 300,000,000,000 CuFt or 3000,000,000 Therms
At the lower US Cost of $1 / Therm That’s $3 billion - 30% to Deltic = $900 Million
At the very UK high cost of $6 / Therm That’s $18 Billion – 30% to Deltic = $5.4 Billion
And The Selene field is another potential 300 Bcf so double up and some with
Deltic owning 50% .
The risk versus gain and a market capitalisation of the current £50 million seems on the low side.
Looking forward to the drill.
