I think the us is way ahead of uk , rigetti show a working prototype in this article, I agree with you that it will be too problematic to have at home in computer form as too much interference and unhygienic atmosphere but as the article states business wise we are already= seeing implementation of quantum computing in certain practises especially with looking at efficiencies or inefficiencies with in current data networks. My only fear and I said this at the beginning is this price could be manipulated until the restriction on the shares have expired which was initially 180 days now 90 days. All this talk about instis buying up retail shares is lunacy the volume isn’t churning the ipo shares let alone retail, 3rd November will be an interesting day….
