We have had all year to procure machines we also had the China exodus where we could have bought machines, but yet we have erroneous orders 20,000 with bitmain (no price known) and the 8 million dollars at no obligation with epic at a wait and see game.

The modus operandi is get mining machines it would be nice to know clear plans on how that is going to be achieved.

S17’s with fail rates I don’t like the idea of, immersion cooling is still in its early stages and may have some trial and error, will be interesting when google and Microsoft release results from the cloud servers they have trialled with immersion cooling but it may not be viable to use s17’s under immersion conditions.

But then could be massive order issues with bitmain for the s19’s ? I see a lot of uncertainty in all this.

You make hay when the sun shines. Not only did Mara and riot benefit from the bull cycles in btc but they diluted at very good high prices and made orders with buy prices too…….Mara and riot have made a lot of hay.

For somebody that wants people to subscribe to his service I found it lacked detail and in some cases just incorrect.

Mara pay 3-4 times in mining costs for btc than Argo do, mmmmmm,

These figures are from September and credited to private investor. I think the article agenda was fool hardy to compare us to riot and Mara. He kind of insinuated that Mara are wasting money flying machines in when he didn’t explain hat Mara paid 3k for them and to say we will be larger than Mara in 12-18 months

The market didn’t expect this to be approved, so was already factored priced in, yet I did expect the sec to give a framework guide on a rejection but I didn’t expect them to be so explicit like they have been.

This can has been kicked down the road, it’s going to take a long time for spot btc etf’s from America to hit the shelves. Again btc will be fine.

Agreed ama one way or the other, Would be nice for PW to make a statement regarding funding, we all know what we need now and if he wants to watch what happens for the next few months without committing to machines, fine, do it. But tell the markets and tell them why.

So yeh minin hodls under risk from quantum hacking madness and geopolitical risks are the only things that can jeopardise it, but for now like you say it all has to come back to fiat, for it then to be utilised/spent in normal real life.

This truly is my biggest fear, especially when you read the risks on crypto miners hodl. The winklevoss twins allegedly own over 100,000btc pieces the passwords and keys to wallets are kept in safety deposit boxes around the USA for them to be hacked and stolen thieves would need to simultaneously need to rob 3 banks know where winklevoss boxes are and how the codes go together. Sometimes you can’t beat an old fashioned piece of paper and old fashioned ways of protecting yourself.

What scares me with hodls with the miners is some kind of super computer comes along and hacks them, especially things like quantum computers and the AI coming along these days. I really didn’t enjoy reading the risks in mining hodls the last few days ;(

Sold cbx at 23p and 19p just couldn’t get a lot of the ipo share. .I think most long term posters here sold on ipo day.

Yeh thought it was 57.5 million.
